Amazing Product, I feel much more secure having this!
I love my French doors but the lock seems quite flimsy. I was looking for something to strengthen the security and this product is the perfect solution!I sleep better at night knowing I have the Nightlock Security Door Lock! It is sturdy and protects against a huge amount of force being pushed on the door 💪It was super easy to install, it doesn’t look obvious and it’s so easy to use, even my kids can secure it at night and unlock it in the morning to let the dog out!Highly, Highly, Highly recommend this product for anyone who feels that they need a bit of extra security on any of their entry doors. I am definitely going to purchase another one for my basement entry door.

TRY to kick in my door NOW! :)
First of all, I need to give props for fast shipping! It came in one day after ordering. Maybe because the Company is based in Flint, Michigan (which I didn't know) and I live in Metro Detroit, so I am "local" for shipping. Regardless, turnaround time was awesome!Second- with this Company based in Flint, I have no worries that this is a quality, strong product. Anyone that knows Flint is well aware that it makes it in the top 5 on lists for being the most dangerous, most violent crime and most murders for numerous years in a row now. Some statistics please it as more dangerous than Detroit. It's truly the wild wild west. My whole point is a security product out of Flint, it will be secure. :)Third Install was a snap! I modified install slightly. I have an attached garage. The garage has a side entry door. This is the door I'm using it on. The door is a strong, heavy duty steel door, but as everyone knows, the jamb/frame is the weak link. Since I installed the NightLock into the concrete floor, instead of using screws/anchors or Tapcons, I used 1/4" - 2 1/4" wedge anchors from Home Depot. 3 to be exact. Fit perfectly into the prefab holes. I used my hammer drill with a 1/4" masonry bit. Measured the depth of the bit to match the length of the wedge anchor plus additional 1/4" and marked the drill bit with tape at correct depth. Drilled the holes, inserted wedge anchors slightly and then put floor plate onto anchors. After plate was soon floor, I took a hammer and gently tapped the anchors into the ground, making SURE to leave enough of the threaded anchor sticking up to accommodate the washer and bolt to grab a bite on the thread. Be advised, if you've never used a wedge anchor, make sure you have depth where you want it and location correct because one it's in, it's IN. Permanent. Never getting it out! Installed, seems very strong and sturdy. Also, I took someone else's idea here in the reviews and changed it slightly. To prevent someone from jimmying it sideways, I drilled an additional hole in the center of the top floor plate and the sliding plate. I then took a very small piece of 1/4" threaded rod and placed it into the new hole I drilled. I made sure it falls slightly below the surface of the floor plate so you can't just pull the rod out with your fingers, you have to remove it with a little magnet. i just keep the magnet on shelf next to door, ready to get to, but unless you knew its there, you wouldnt have a clue. :) so....it's installed. Anchored into concrete. Won't slide out without removing rod with magnet and is built like a brick s**t house....I'm happy! Lol****UPDATE**** Almost a year later, still going strong! I HIGHLY recommend this product, especially for a side garage entry door. Secure the Night lock to the cement floor with wedge anchors and a bulldozer couldn't get through...

Works well
Got this for our basement double French door. Install was a little difficult only because it required drilling into the concrete floor. Only than that, simple to install. Seems to work well, providing a good level of security on the door. Did not test it by trying to kick in the door, but a push test suggests it works as advertised. Recommended.

E-A-S-Y and EFFECTIVE !
Last week I installed one of these Nightlocks on the back door, and immediately ordered one for the front door. There things are a WONDERFUL invention.First one was installed on a tile floor and took about 15 minutes, which inclluded drilling three holes in the tile with a tile boring bit (flat carbide tile bit $11 at neighborhood hardware.). I intentionally drilled the holes a tad over-size (3/8") and then coated the inside of the hole with construction adhesive before inserting the plastic lag shields.Second one was installed on a wood floor, over top of carpet. Drilled small pilot holes, then ran down the screws. As easy as slicing through hot butter.I used to worry about some crazed radical kicking in my doors and being in the house before I could get awake and grab my "means of response." That ain't gonna happen in the future ! Frist of all, he will never get past my Nightlocks. Second of all, if he does, I will have had time to make a pot of coffee and "take up position" long before he comes within range.Earlier on, I was thinking of adding more deadbolts and chains to my doors. No longer necessary... and the Nightlock was cheaper than all that additional hardware, and saved me a lot of installation work with a hole saw and mortising chisels. The only thing I did not like about the two purchases was the flat $9.98 shipping fee. There should have been an option for "Slow Freight, Cheaper Rate."

Love these
I ordered these and was able to do the work myself. I’m 74. Got new neighbors and their oldest son in and out of police station. So I put these in myself. Easy to do and door will not open so they can remove. Carpet was a little harder to drill through. But that is not product. Going to buy two more for garage door.
