Perfect for little tykes!
Nice, good quality, prompt shipping, fair price....actually better price than in the retail stores I saw. I thought about ordering this instead of the regular Razor Kick Scooter for my 6 year old grandson because his coordination is not all there yet, but was concerned this would be too small for him, so I ordered both (the regular for him and this one for his almost 3 year old brother, thinking the elder could try this until he feels comfortable to use the other). I'm so glad I bought both! The elder would have hated this scooter as it only works for smaller children, I'd say ages 2-4, because the handles are short and it isn't designed to zip along quite as quickly (which is perfect for pre-schoolers, but no older). The 6 year old brother went right for his gift (the regular razor ), and is able to balance just fine. This over-protective grandma is happy all around!

Well built and fun for 3 year old
We got this Razor scooter for Christmas for our 3.5 year old son and it was a hit. The only assembly was snapping in the steering arm into the base; no tools required. The base is made out of plastic, but has a metal frame underneath, making it very sturdy. I have even ridden on it briefly (160 lbs), with no harm to the scooter. Everything else is metal and very similar to the full-sized Razor scooters. This adds to the form factor and makes little ones feel even cooler because it looks like a "big kid" scooter. The two wheels at the rear make the scooter stable while still requiring some balance and maneuvering skills by the child. I like that there are fenders over the rear wheels, to keep little feet from inadvertently catching on them.

my 3.5 year old loves it
this was the first kick scooter i bought for my son (3.5 years old). As such had many apprehensions how good this product would turn out. I am happy to say that, he loves it. I see following advantages1. ideal for age group 3+2. robust - you know how rough kids use their toys. but this is strong.3. can be used for many years - i see this can be used not only right now but would be relevant as he grows big for next 3-4 years.some notes1. i bought the blue color, but i guess any neutral color (other than blue and pink) can be bought , so that any one can use it in future.slight disadvantagei find the board bit small to hold both legs easily. For kids it is often hard to put second leg on the board on run. Often put it above other and may slightly hurt it. But i guess this is how they are designed or the son is in learning stage.

A little expensive but worth it !!!
We got this for our 2 YO daughter because she was showing a lot if interest in other kid’s scooters. I had seen most kids had Razor scooters, so we went with it. It’s too early for her to be able to use it on her own. But she likes it a lot.The scooter is not very heavy. It was easy to assemble and the instructions are plain and simple. The quality of material to make this scooter is very good and durable. Two of the best things I like about this scooter:1. It has a very broad base which makes it easier for kids to put both feet on it. In fact currently our daughter just stands on it and I have to push her from behind.2. Two wheels on the back side is safe and easy for the kids to balance the scooter.WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE: The vertical bar of the scooter is not adjustable, and this can be a problem for kids wo are very short or very tall. Also, the cover on the handles is some kind of soft fabric (instead of solid plastic). I am sure this will wear and tear soon. Also, its not easy to fold this scooter and takes a substantial amount of efforts to do that.In summary, this is a decent fist scooter for kids.

Great little scooter and folds quick and easy.
This was one of the biggest hits with my 6 year old at Christmas. She loves it so much I wish I would have bought it sooner. My child is average height (50 percentile) and it would have been nice to have an adjustable height handle as it could have been a little bit higher but it's fine for her. It's well made and easy to assemble. One of the nice features is that it folds down so it's makes it easy to bring it places. We wanted to be able to take it with us when we travel and the ability to fold it flat makes it easy to put in the over head or in the car.

My two year old son loves this scooter
A bit expensive...but he has spent hours on this thing, so we're definitely getting our money's worth. The nice thing about this scooter is that the wheels do not continue to roll if you were to try to spin them quickly. In other words, your child can't go very fast on this thing. However, it's teaching him great coordination and he gets a nice workout playing on it. I have two older children (9 and 5), and they have the "bigger kid" Razor scooters. So my two year old thinks he's big stuff riding with them. It also folds up very easily to fit in the back of your car.I'm extremely happy that we bought this for him.

My four year old loves it!
We were trying to decide between this and the Dora the Explorer scooter for Christmas. We finally decided to go with the Razor as it looked to be better built. It has been ridden on the street, the sidewalk, the kitchen floor and it has not had a single problem. It is quiet and solid and works as advertised. I was worried that it would be too difficult for a 4yr old to ride, but the 3rd wheel is just what she needed. This is a recent revision and includes a nifty feature: it folds up. My husband was quite happy with this. Eventually you will get to the bottom of the hill, the kid will not want to push it back up and you will be carrying it. This just makes it easier. Just a note: helmut is a MUST. They can really get some speed going and there is no good way to stop.
