Safe and Easy
2nd time we have bought! Great product. Replaced our previous gate at the top of the stairs. Safe for our family. Easy to install. Would recommend to all!

No holes or drill necessary.
Easy to install. I love that it attaches to the spindles. No holes in the wood.

Simple setup, but didn’t work where we wanted it to
Unfortunately, this won’t work at the top of the stairs for us as our banister is on the inside of the rail so it prevents the gate from lining up properly. We were able to put it at the bottom of the stairs. My husband put it together and the ease of setup seemed pretty quick for him. The lock closes and opens with ease. I think this will work for a variety of people in many different setups for stairs, but just not where we need it most. Seems secure and of good quality.

Hard to put together!!! Instructions are worthless!
Ridiculously hard to put together, the instructions are NOT helpful at all!!! Then after you do all of that you have readjust EVERYTHING you just did to get the gate to latch correctly!!! I guess it works great if you can get through all of that, still not convinced it works well yet.

Doesn’t Latch/Very Difficult Assembly
This gate sucks. It’s VERY hard to assemble. The instructions are backwards & so are the pictures. The gate doesn’t latch at all no matter what we did. Had to put a baby latch strap to hold it shut.

Exactly what I was looking for in a gate with a big family and dogs
This was a good find. We have black railings with dogs and multiple kids, so finding something that can hold up, match and be functional was not easy. So far so good but the only user error I would mention is do not over tighten the straps. I did it on multiple occasions thinking it would make it more sturdy but eventually I snapped them.

Great Product
This gate is perfect for the stairs. We have an open stairway with 2 banisters on each side. This works great with the banisters. Sturdy and safe!

Exactly what we needed for our situation.
We’ve had it up for a week and seems to be working great. Exactly what we needed for our stairs while renting! and it was pretty easy to install. Only suggestion would be extra straps Incase they were to break, from the tension of installing. We were not able to use the foot extension on the bottom because it was too wide of a gap between the first step and the bottom of the gate. Also I feel comfortable with this gate being at the bottom of the stairs stopping him from going up. I would be a little cautious if using to stop from going down the stairs, it does seem a little wiggly.
