Well designed
Used just once so far and my initial impressions are all positive.Bike made it on four separate flights without any damage. No damage to the case either. The actual design of the case and integrated work stand is excellent. Two zippered internal pockets hold the pedals and the tools you’ll need.In terms of packing/unpacking, it definitely helps to have some experience removing and reinstalling front & rear wheels, pedals, and the bars. The case is heavy so plan on the possibility of an overweight baggage fee.Easier to move around the airport than I anticipated.Definitely an investment - I look forward to traveling more often.

Comes with a bike stand!
I completely love my new bike case. Easy to use and follow the instructions to get my bike situated in the case.

Wheels ripped off on first use
Loved this case and it protected my bike well but the wheels pulled out of the case in my first trip ! Bad design .. returned it. Disappointed in Thule which normally has great quality products that last for years.

Expensive but worth it - mostly
I hemmed and hawed about buying this for probably 2-3 months and ended up finding one used which saved me a few hundred off the cost. I think if I were to buy it again I'd still have a hard time with the cost. But, having used it now I can say that it's worth its premium price. Of all the cases I think it generally comes down to this or the EVOC as the two best cases. The others are smaller or not as versatile. My brother bought the EVOC and I ended up with the Thule partly because I've got Thule racks on my car and I have a good feeling for the brand being well thought out. And it is. The built in stand seems almost like a silly gimmick but it makes assembling and taking apart your bike much easier in a hotel room. It also greatly improves the ease of packing the bike. And packing the bike is much easier and organized. It has pockets for the tools/pedals and the various velcro and wall/pads are all very well thought out. It's also very large and accommodating case able to fit my full size Salsa Cutthroat 29" gravel bike or my Evil Offering 29" MTB and still have room inside for a bag of clothes. While I was unluckily flying Frontier their $75 bike charge allowed 100lbs so I stuffed the empty spaces with a soft bag of clothes, SPD shoes, Camelback and extra jackets. I got on the plane with one carry-on personal bag with cameras.Lastly the small front wheel is a big deal. My brother had to lift his bag and pull it on the two rear wheels and that, after about a mile of walking, was pretty exhausting. My Thule case was very pleasant to roll through the airport with one hand. Small detail that makes a big difference.Overall, while I still think it's pretty crazy expensive, I do think it's worth it as the best case there is.

A mountain bike travel case that's built to last
Compatibility:I have enough mountain bikes to confirm Thule is being realistic with the claim this case can handle any mountain bike.Packing:Putting a mountain bike in this case is fairly simple, though not quite as easy as some of the other travel cases I've owned. Due to its semi-soft/semi-rigid paneled construction, placement of the bike and wheels can be a bit fiddly. However, once packed up, this case is rock solid.Travel:Once packed, the case rolls super easy. Also, as I'm sure most will gather, this case can be inspected with ease. I've traveled with this case 4 times now, without issue.Stand:The built in stand is good enough that I occasionally use it when I'm at home. It's very sturdy, and has excellent balance.Quality:As a brand, I love Thule. I own a LOT of their products. I feel Thule makes very high quality products, and stand by them. In my opinion, this case lives up to my expectations of Thule.Bottom line:If you want a top of the line mountain bike case that's not fully rigid, this is what you want. I couldn't be happier with this case.5 stars
