Sauder Cannery Bridge 6 Drawer Dresser, Lintel Oak finish

I really wanted a nice solid well made dresser with good drawer space and a cute design. This fits the bill. I saw a ton of reviews stating how sturdy it is. Sturdy really is the first word that comes to mind once this dresser is assembled! It really is a great piece for the price. I paid about $250. Two cons tho, one it is just a simple sticker laminate on every piece so I’m not sure how well this will hold up over time. Two, the reviews about the doors never sitting just right seems reasonable. I fiddled with mine until I was happy but I wouldn’t say they are perfect, but honestly it’s not that noticeable other than to me at this point so take your time. I did see a review that said to read the directions well before starting and I’d agree! Lots of visuals but it’s still really easy to invert a board so just be patient. Honestly I’m so so happy with this piece. I also ordered the large cabinet and nightstand! Lastly, I’m really impressed with the packaging on this. Showed up in a much thinner box than I’d expect and everything was so well packed inside! 5 stars!

Very sturdy dresser. But too difficult to put together and the drawers fit well and glide easily. I loved the mango wood finish, but you can kind of tell it’s not a solid wood dresser. The back is tack board so it needs to be against a wall so you can’t see that. The dresser itself is quite heavy. It’s durable and easy to clean. If you can’t afford a solid wood dresser, this is a great option. Much better quality than a previous IKEA dresser I bought.

Received the dresser and the boxes were perfect looking. No obvious shipping damage. I inspected every bit of the boxes before starting assembly. Assembly was not bad. I do wish they used something more solid to fasten the drawers together as they feel rather flimsy even after assembly.What was disappointing was the lack of quality on the finish. Multiple drawers have laminate missing or chipped. One corner of a face for one of the drawers has a rather terrible cut that has caused a frayed look. The top panel has one spot at the edge that the edging material has been damaged or not properly adhered.Normally Ashely furniture is far superior than this. Was quite disappointed. Free returns sounds like a great thing unless it’s furniture that is all assembled now. Also trying to remember how to restack in the packaging would be almost impossible.Sadly disappointed in Ashley this time around.

I ordered this dresser 5 years ago and couldn’t be more happy with it. Assembly was a little involved but not complicated. When assembled it is pretty heavy but not unmanageable. I have moved once since the purchase and it held up great. It is a nicer piece of furniture than the “nice furniture” (expensive) my sister got from Furniture Row. With the price, I expected a much cheaper feeling dresser than what this is. All the pieces fit together perfectly and after 5 years, the finish looks the way it did on day one. I wanted to leave a review because I saw all the negative reviews and that has just not been my experience. Listen, I get that with “build it yourself” furniture sometimes things don’t fit right or holes are drilled in the wrong place... if that happens, exchange it! If following cryptic instructions and cranking a wrench until your hands are hot and red then maybe this, and all build it yourself furniture, is not for you. I love this dresser and would recommend it to anyone.

This dresser is gorgeous! Just what I was looking for in my bedroom. The drawers are nice and hold a lot of clothes. The finish is so pretty and the nice detail of the harringbone on the side makes it more interesting. It did take me 4 hours to build - if you have help and an extra screwdriver you could cut that in half. Even though it took me a while to build the instruction booklet was one of the best I’ve seen - very easy to follow and understand. All the parts were labeled very well. It turned out great & for the price you can’t beat it. I’m very pleased

The media could not be loaded. All the drawers in the right side close nice and easy. The drawers on the left side close very hard and rigid. I read other comments to just adjust the railings but I did all combinations and it still shuts hard. I have built several things in my life and this made me feel like a complete idiot! The instructions have two pieces that are labeled the same letter and if you don’t put it on the correct piece you have to take it apart and re-do it. I really thought the bad reviews were people who didn’t follow directions so I took a chance. And those people weren’t wrong. I just don’t understand why one side closes nicely and the other side doesn’t. It looks very nice as a dresser but I wished I never bought it.UPDATE! Once I was able to adjust the railings (which was very tedious and time consuming, all the drawers close very nicely!

I LOVE this dresser. It’s not small, but not huge which is perfect for my old, very non-symmetrical five house. SO easy to put together (far easier than any ikea furniture I’ve put together, and there’s been ALOT of that) and is extremely sturdy. The only part that gave me any trouble was drawer level adjustments. I got to the drawers and thought I’d had it made, but I would highly suggest paying attention to the last few pages and their adjustments. If you do, you’ll have the whole dang thing built by yourself perfectly in two hours tops if you’re good at this stuff. Even if you’re not, follow the instructions to a T and you’ll be just fine. All in all, can’t recommend enough; very much worth it!
