17" Silly Penguin, Animal Hand Puppet

Pretty good size and easy to use. The price is also good compared to other puppets. Was a hit at children’s church. Only wish I could easily control his flippers.

Loved the penguin. As an adult I found him too over stuffed to put my hand in to use the traditional way. Then I tried putting my hand into the bottom portion on the mouth and my thumb under it and it worked much better for me.

My 9 year old son was going through a Penguin phase so we got this for his birthday. He liked it and played with “Pete” for months.

Also bought it for Math Expressions curriculum. Kids absolutely love it! It's a bit small for my hand, so I'm stuck doing the flapping head rather than the flapping jaw preferred by puppeteers, but I'm big guy. You probably won't have any trouble. And if your hands get cold, he makes a very effective glove.

This was a gift for a child. It was very large, very soft and looked exactly like the picture. My son was surprised to see he had a tongue inside his beak/mouth, it is red and heart shaped. also, only the mouth moves, there is not a way to move the flippers from inside the puppet.It was very well received by the recipient! He loved it.

First off. Why dose this bird have a cloth beak, stiched off cented and flops to the shape of your hand?Secondly. its fur matt can be picked off buy the force of duct tape grip alone showing off the loose netting and cotton organs.Thirdly. articulating the mouth can cause a blinking effect with the droopy eyes. Thats no complaint just saying.Forth. There is potiental for thicker flippers to run a wire evenso thus more fun.So this is a good buy if you dont plan on doing a movies worth of action with it. Maybe something like Big Brother where it just sits there and talks at the camera then derps around.
