Hits above its class
Let me first say I know boots. I’ve always been into boots and my footwear. I have bottom barrel crap boots all the way to $600 dollar custom fit Wesco boots. These are great boots for the money. The soles are a little slippery on polished concrete and tile but otherwise are great. Super quiet walking around. I feel like I could sneak up on anyone in these. There has been a little break in but nothing horrendous. I’ve jokingly referred to them as my work slippers for being so comfy and light.I’m glad I didn’t listen to Amazon’s recommendation on sizing, they recommended a 13. I got my usual sizing of 11.5 and it was perfect. The only complaint a have is the toe box is short and the top of my big toe wants to rub a little. Not bad but that’s my nit picky complaint. I think after some break in that will go away. Are these comparable to my Wescos or high end Danners? Well, no. But for the money, it’s pretty tough to beat. I tried some of Carrhartt’s boots that were around the same price point and these Georgia’s beat those and left them bleeding in the moonlight.

Comfortable right out of the box
I like that there is no break in period! They last a long time and are comfortable. I wear them daily on concrete and they cushion my feet.

Georgia Men's 6'' Wedge Work Boot
Excellent quality. Supple is how I would describe the leather of these boots. They are comfortable and since they are Georgia Boot, I expect them to be durable. I use them for yard work.

Great boot for the price
So keep in mind one thing - price. This is not a long term review. I have owned these for about 2 months and wear them on weekends and after work. Size is true. Foot bed is non-removable. Hooks are soft metal and easy to bend if pressed or bumped. The tongue has a reinforcement sewn to the edge that sometimes hits my foot in the wrong spot. I have to be sure the tongue is pulled tight and straight to avoid issues. There is enough room in the toe for my SuperFeet inserts. So far with my added inserts they are comfortable and functional. Most likely I will repurchase when it wears out but that depends on the failure.

My preferred work boot
Hello, my name is Mark.I have been using this brand and style of Georgia Boots for eight years. I do a lot of walking everyday, gathering materials and tools. I purchase at least three or four pairs a year. I have tried other Georgia work boots, but they do not compare to these (to me). These Georgia boots require no break-in (the leather is very soft).I love the soles; I have to go into customer's homes, and they do not mark the floors, or bring in a lot of debris. They work well on all surfaces. The boots are easy to put on, lace nicely and support my ankles. The boots are very light, and breath very well (I use two pair of socks). They bend at the toes with no restriction, when I am working on my knees.I do use an orthopedic arch support from Good Feet, and a cushion in-sole, because I really do put a lot of miles on these boots, as well as carrying extra weight with materials and tools.I purchase a pair for dress, they go with all my clothes and belt, and when I need to replace my work pair then I replace them with these, and I purchase a new pair for dress. These are the only shoes I wear.Hope this helps.

It's not prime. As labeled.
Bought my 2nd pair of Georgia boots. Boots are great. Won't be buy them here on amazon again. They were labeled prime and we're suppose to be delivered 9 days. Ago. Every day they kept changing delivery date. I really need these boots and I need to go buy another pair. Due to the delivery delay.
