CT Sounds review
This is my First CT Sounds purchase. I am very impressed with the Meso 5.25 component set. They have Aluminum baskets, push terminals , and are made with quality craftsmanship. They have a dynamic, clean, clear, full sound with plenty of mid bass. In my opinion you rarely get all of those attributes even at a price point of 5 times what I paid for these . The front stage in my car now consists of 2 sets of the Meso componet sets.

Doesn’t get any better
I’ve been a professional audio installer for 8 years now. Decided to upgrade my truck and have always been a ct sounds fan. Let me tell you. It doesn’t get any better then this right here. These little things pack a hell of a punch. The quality is amazing and the volume is astonishing. I will be upgrading to the larger 6.5 full range set in the future when I get the gonads to cut into my truck haha. But for now, these are plenty more then enough. Wow is the only correct word

Great Speakers
I finally hooked these up to the packaged crossover, and they sound great! There are many options for mounting the tweeter. The option I picked mounts the tweeter in a rotatable gimbal mount so that the tweeter can be pointed any direction within a generous plane degree.

Big Ole subwoofer magnet on mids xD
Look big as freak!! These are some serious upgrade. Haven't installed yet but can tell they're gonna be loud. The magnet has a breather hole like a sub xD. The crossovers are a good size and have +/-3 and 0 dB dial inside the crossover. That's a nice feature. The cone is a good quality woven cone. It's really tight actually. I'll post a picture of it next to the Rockford fosgate prime 5.25

Unlucky?... I'm guessing
I purchased this Meso componet set and one of their multi-channel amps, 75w x 4 I believe, together. Unfortunately, one of woofer's voice coil was already half detached from its spider and was rubbing on the pole or plate. And 2 of the amps channels outputs were distorted and at a lower power than the other two, as well as their selve (no, it wasnt the fader or balance controls). What made it even worse, I pulled a huge rookie move and didnt fire them up until after the several hour install, my bad and I payed for it. What did work, sounded great but I was rather upset and instead of replacements, I went with some nicer Infinities, I was probably just unlucky...

Decent components for the money. I've heard plenty better though.
I like these speakers but reading reviews here I expected better. I will say they look to be built well. I like the basket and push terminals. All the speakers that I buy have these features though so nothing to get excited about. I have been using CDT Audio speakers in my vehicles for over 10 years now and truly love their sound. By comparison the CT Sounds speakers do not have the same rich sound I'm used to. The tweeters over-shadow the mids IMO. I have them set to -3 in the X-overs and still they are too bright. I hate having to EQ but it is necessary with these tweets. They are 1" tweets in a housing for a 2" tweet lol. Way big and really uncalled for. It is like they want you to think their tweeter is much larger. It is not but the housing is so big. The X-overs get the job done and look nice enough but they are really a very basic passive x-over. Compared to all of the X-Overs that ship with CDT Audio components that i own, the CT sounds x-overs look cheap. I also do not like the plastic grills that ship with these. They look cheap and I think over time they will crack. I would have preferred a more traditional grill myself.I will give these speakers props for power handling. They claim 50 watts RMS per speaker but go on to say if adjusted properly (amp) they can take a lot more. Well I'm inclined to believe that boast as I am pushing up to 150 watts RMS @ 4 Ohms per speaker and they so far are handling that power without issue. I have them cut at 80 Hz. They get loud and do not distort...so far.Speaking of sound, SQ is ok. The sound coming out of these speakers is clean and clear but they do not have a richness to the sound. I'm spoiled by CDT Audio for sure. All of my CDT speakers are cut at 80 Hz too in my other vehicle and they sound so much nicer. Just as clean, just as clear, maybe even louder as they can handle more power but the difference in SQ is big IMO. They just sound so much nicer than the CT Sounds speakers.Don't get me wrong; the CT Sounds speakers do not sound bad. Just not as good as I'm used to. I like the sound enough that I plan to keep running them for now. At $68 they are a good deal IMO. I think if I had the 6.5" version I'd enjoy the sound more but the 5.25" components along with my sub sound pretty good and without a doubt get plenty loud.I'm already looking at new speakers that I may buy down the road if I decide I want to move on from CT Sounds but in the mean time I will put them through their paces and see how they handle it for awhile. Like I already said, they do sound decent and for the price you get a lot of bang for the buck,

Amazing comps for the money
I have 1 set per front door total of 2 mids 2 tweeters per door ran off a Orion 6002 and man these are some of the best budget comp sets I've ever ran. Crossed at 80hz these sound really good. Tweeters are a little bright so I have them at -3db and it helped a lot. Mids were a little deep considering my build. I chose the lazy budget build without fiber glass or cutting me doors.

Built for sound
Components were of high quality and made well built.Midsubs were really big, you would need a deep spot to mount.Overall I liked this product and the price was really good.
