IT WORKS!
Does exactly what its made for. Very happy with the project. Wish the coiled wire was not so thick but it works and I like it.

Works well, but be careful with handling
I needed more D-tap connections for my v-mount batteries. This splitter works well, and I haven't had any issues with performance. Note that it is unregulated, though. I do have a couple of issues with attachment, however.First, there is no attachment point for the device itself. It is just a flat plastic back. This would be fine if I was dealing with something that hade flat surfaces, but I'm attaching it to a camera, and there aren't any flat surfaces anywhere. Secondly, the connector that plugs into the battery is not as tight as I would like. I'm concerned that I may knock it out without meaning to.Overall, if I'm careful, everything works well. But I believe that I will try to find something that works a little better for my needs, and keep this as a spare.

My daughter says that it works.
I don't even know what this is, but my daughter said that she needed it for filming and she says that it works.

D-tap connector is loose and wiggles out of my battery port
The media could not be loaded. What's great:- Coiled cable keeps things tidy while allowing for expansion to longer lengthsRoom for improvement:- D-tap didn't fit securely into my CoreSWX battery D-tap output and wiggled its way outOverall this cable works from an electrical standpoint. From a mechanical standpoint, I have a concern about using this cable in a production environment because the cable is loose and has a tendency to wiggle its way out. I tried this with a couple of my CoreSWX V-mount batteries. It also was loose when you plug it into itself at the other end, so I think that's a pretty good indication that it's not just my particular CoreSWX batteries. I also tried some older CoreSWX batteries that I no longer use, and those were more snug.I would probably seek a different cable with a tighter fit--even pay a bit more--for peace of mind.

Quite a bit more substantial than I was expecting.
I do some videography mainly as a side gig, so I can't justify spending a few hundred dollars on a V-mount plate with a distribution block. What I can justify is a cheap V-mount 15mm rail adapter. I started with huge V-mount batteries, thinking I could use them for lights AND cameras, but I've since moved to these smaller batteries because I just wasn't manly enough to heft the weight of the full setup for any reasonable duration, and honestly those huge batteries were kinda overkill anyways... The problem is that these smaller batteries only have one D-tap socket and I need to power both the camera and a Ninja so I was quite excited when I found out that these D-tap hubs existed. The fit and finish of this hub is a lot nicer than I was expecting and 3M double sided tape turns my simple plate into a distro plate. Another plus is now I only have to unplug one cable to swap batteries out.

Durable, Solid, Premium
Just like any other filmmaker who is installing lots of different equipment and accessories into one camera, power solution is a big thing to take into consideration. I have a Blackmagic Studio Camera 4k Pro along with converters, a Hollyland Transmitter, and honestly more. I use a V-mount battery which splits into a connector to allow me 12v, USB, and even DTAP connections. However, with the risk of only having one DTAP, my power connections are limited. With this product, I am able to install way more devices without having to worry about power problems and messy cable management, and even get a product that has a nice durable fit with other dtap plugs. Overall, this is something I can recommend highly to everyone purchasing a DTAP splitter for your film needs. Great design.
