Metal Earth Supermarine Spitfire 3D Metal Model Kit Fascinations

I give it five stars because it is what it's advertised as. But wow this thing is tiny. And you need the tools. I would make this thing once in my life and never again though. Pretty tedious.

There were no problems, the instructions were clear, and the model fit together as it should.

A very nice piece. I had to do it in small sessions since it is so small. I used a magnifying glass sometimes. The finished product looks really good

I really enjoyed this as a first model and I will definitely build a few more. A few things I discovered that might be helpful to first time modelers:1) Tweezers are a really important tool. I started with tweezers, pliers and wire cutters and stopped using the pliers almost immediately because I could do everything that the pliers would do with the tweezers.2) Getting the pieces out of the metal sheet can be a task in itself; I found that my wire cutters were slightly too large to do this effectively and I will probably look for a better tool.3) Some of the pieces need to be curved; I found bending round a pencil quite effective.

This plane may have strange instructions, but most of all, this plane is amazing and easy to build!The only part of this I had trouble with was the pipes on the front of the plane. But other than that, this was easy and fun!The only tools I used were my hands, tweezers, and a pencil for rounding the body of the plane.I recommend this to people who have made one Metal kit before this one.Overall, easy and BEAUTIFUL METAL EARTH KIT!

Good idea but several pieces didn’t break out without damage

I’d give this zero stars if that was possible. There are so much bending and twisting requires”d but the parts are so tiny as if it was designed for people with toddler sized hands. Combine that with the vague instructions and you’re in for a horrible time.
