The guitar works great for my 7 year old daughter. She takes it to guitar lessons.The case however tore after a month or so.

We got this for our daughter for her 8th birthday and purple is her favorite color. The guitar is nice, but the color is way darker than the picture. The picture is more of a magenta or fuschia purple, but in reality, it's a dark violet. The case sucks and reminds me of something I'd get at a dollar store. (No judgements, I shop at the Dollar Tree, but for a guitar you want better quality) It does include all that you see in the picture though, so that's nice, especially the extra strings, which is great, because nylon stretches over time. All in all, I'd say it's a good deal for the price. Perfect for a kid just starting out.

I got this for a 7 year old and I think she's going to love it. The guitar looks great, very similar to my classical guitar and the size should be just right for her. The mahogany version really looks nice. The included tuner worked like a charm and I didn't have much trouble tuning the guitar. Of course the strings stretch so I'm periodically retuning it so it will be more stable by Christmas. The guitar, accessories, and case are a great deal for the price and I'm very happy with the purchase. It does not have fretboard dots so I did buy some dots to put on the appropriate frets and top side of neck.

Cheap as the price get what you pay for stays in tune 20 seconds at best

Bought this for my granddaughter's 7th birthday. Very pretty, nice-looking guitar. There is a con or two to this particular item however. With 3 of the strings being plastic, it sounds more like a toy. I am going to have to go to a music shop now to replace them with the metal strings. I really hate it when I purchase somerhing and I have to go somewhere now to fix it as it's not right to begin with. I knew about the strings when I purchased it, but didn't think it would be a real issue with the sound, but it is. For the price of this guitar I don't know why they put 3 plastic strings on knowing the difference it would make in the sound. Next, the guitar shoulder strap is rdiculous! It has a place on the bottom of the guitar to hook it to, but there is no place at all to connect the neck part of the strap. So I went to the review and questions section for this guitar to look at some questions for this item, and found out there is not anywhere to attach the other part of the strap - people are tying it to the guitar under the strings! What?? Totally takes away from the "classiness" of the guitar. Please maufacturer, take note and fix this! I should return it but it is too much hassle.SECOND REVIEW: Do not buy this item. My grandaughter opened this fir her birthday and loved it. She strummed it a few times and then had to put it away as she had to go home. The following weekend when she visited again, after no one touched it and it just sat in her room, she took it out of it's case and the black wooden piece that holds the strings was completely broken off! The wood must have been cracked and we didn't see it. I immediately called for a refund and will re-purchase elsewhere.

Great starter guitar for my granddaughter. She has autism and this seems to stimulate her very well. The item is very durable, and it came with everything to tune it along with extra strings and a nice carrying case I would highly recommend this for someone who is ensure if they’re gonna pursue the guitar as it is a great starter For anyone even an adult

It was exactly what I expected it to be, my daughter and brother loves it.
