Good latch quite a long bar on it was actually too long for my gate so I trimmed it down with a Dremel, plenty of slack internally not to worry about getting the cut precise, so easy enough and it works well.Only be fitted a month or so but no signs of rust and no concerns, feels solid and well designed.

Very good ironmongery and for the price you can't go wrong. We had alittle bit of a rusty bit on the handle but apart from that all good.

Very sturdy

Was a bit sceptical about buying a gate latch on amazon from a company I was not familiar with, but I have been pleasantly surprised.The design was virtually identical to my old one which had rusted so badly it would no longer open. I was able to fit this one very quickly, all the screws and everything was surprised. While the surround for the handles was slightly smaller than my previous one, I needed to screw new holes but the screws supplied were able to do this without a problem. I fitted it very easily, although the bar to attach the front and rear handles was longer than I required, so needed to saw a bit off of it to make it fit.Overall very impressed, it has been fitted for about a month now and I cannot see any signs of rust from either the hardware or the screws. Quality is excellent

Bought to replace old one that had a broken latch; easy to fit most difficult part was removing the old one! Well made , sturdy & good value for money

I must say I was surprised as I expected this to be exactly the same as the one I previously purchased from B&Q (which fell apart during installation) but it seems to be a slightly higher quality.Not the best but decent for the cheap price for sure. I'd not trust it for a heavier duty application but it's held up just fine so far, on our light side gate

I was really pleased with this. I installed it in 20-30 minutes. Straight forward to install without any missing screws or parts. I would buy again. Be warned the welding on the back caused it to be raised, I counter sinked some holes so it was flush to the surface.

A very strong item which is generally well made. What let it down was the fact that the latch bar retaining hook which is welded to its back plate was not fitted flush with this plate for welding. This means that it is slightly inclined forward. With very little pressure this results in the latch bar riding up the hook, causing the gate to open - this defeats the object of the latch! Fortunately I had an old one which retains the latch bar securely, so did not bother to return the item In summary, a very good item let down by one sloppy bit of work.
