I'm very surprised!
For all the hype, extreme advertising, and incredible packaging, I thought I probably had wasted my money. But.........so far so good! I thought it would be too big for my hand because my go-to paring knife for years is much smaller. It fits well, cuts well, and looks great! My husband got a bigger version as a Christmas gift and loves husband too. Expensive but handy!

Great knife
Insanely sharp and believe it or not, very comfortable to hold and control. I like it way more than I expected.

Excellent quality - Exceeded my expectations.
I was skeptical at first that this was just going to be an overpriced cheap knife however the quality is there. Very well balanced and ergonomic. It didn't come sharp enough for my standard but an easy fix. I will be buying another shadow black series knife in the future.Comes with a pin, sticker, maintenance guide and a "vip" invitation to sign up for discounts and future product information. The maintenance guide has some humor - overall very satisfied.

Sharp quality.
We have had a Dalstrong knife before and it is the "go-to-knife" of choice for my wife. After going through a drawer full of knives from god knows where we decided to do away with many of them and just get one good knife. This is it.

Stamped metal knives are mainstays in Pro kitchens / Our banquet chefs call them "disposable knives"
Everything about this knife is great....I thought it would be a forged steel knife at that price point....just couldn't get past that for a stamped knife..I returned mine.

Slice like a ninja!
Amazing knife for the money. Comes delivered in a black box with foam surrounding the knife and sheath. Modern, angular design that fits surprisingly well in the hand. Comfortable and easy to hold. Extremely sharp out of the box. Versatile knife perfect for many good prep jobs. Dalstrong doesn’t have the name behind them like Henkel, Wustoff, or Shun but they make quality products. Already purchased 3 others.
