Better than expected !!!
When I opened the small package I thought I'd been scammed. The product is very small and seemed not to fit my finger. However, after trying it I was amazed at how efficient and fast it works. As mentioned above I had some preconceived ideas about what to expect. It's small size is actually a plus for travel or camping....it doesn't need to fit like a ring you just secure it around the end of any digit you choose. It cuts like a hot knife in butter through the peel but not the orange flesh. It's good that you get two in case you misplace or want to give one to a friend. Great product !!!

Nifty little gadget
I have always had difficulty peeling oranges and other citrus fruits - I have soft nails and they would often break when I would try to dig into the skin. Growing up, I used my parents' citrus peeler that was basically a small nub on the end of a stick, which worked okay, and when I moved into my own place I turned to Amazon to find one of my own and found this orange peeler instead - definitely an improvement on the old design! Since the piece that slices into the skin is nice and sharp, it takes minimal exertion, and the guard behind the slicer prevents cutting into the fruit itself, which is great because the juice doesn't go everywhere and make a sticky mess, and also because I prefer to eat oranges by peeling off the segments while still intact. Definitely a useful household tool.

Not too shabby
The rings on these things are ginormous. I felt anorexic slipping my finger into this thing. It seems these were built for Fat Finger McGee's morbidly obese brother. The plastic blade could also be a little bit longer too. All in all I'd recommend it, especially if you have sausage fingers. I hate using my nails to peel an orange and usually resort to a knife or a standard pencil-shaped orange peeler. These things are much more efficient though.

Kinda not worth it.
I find the object to work quite well at cutting the orange. A few issues, first is that it is so small when I pack it in my lunch bag usually I have to dig and dig to find it. I often wonder if the effort of looking for it is worth it once I find it. Second, I can't use the tool to separate the peel unlike other tools which have a sort of long separater. This is just to short to get proper leverage the ring just rolls around your finger. Third, it took 2 months to arrive from Hong kong. For the price it is handy and I find myself using it. Just know that there are better tools.

So disappointed!
I was SO looking forward to this "curious thing".I'm an orange lover, but as many others, I hate peeling it or don't have the time to do it right. When I got this (a set of 2) a went right at it and started peeling my oranges for immediate eating. First of all, the cutting part wasn't sharp enough and I couldn't go smoothly through the orange without making a mess; Second, the plastic ring broke and split off of the bottom part.I was so sad, but thankfully it wasn't too much money wasted.I would double think this product before buying it again!

Easy as Peeling Bananas!
I love it! I wish I had known about these sooner! This peeler makes peeling an orange as easy as peeling a banana! No more orange peel under my fingernails or breaking my nails with this new peeler! I'm eating oranges much more often now because it's so quick and clean to peel with these! It works great for peeling grapefruit too! The only time I have any problem with it is if I have an orange with a very thick peel. There's lots of different ways to peel with it. You can experiment with different ways. The easiest for me is to run the peeler from top to bottom down four sides of the orange, then pull down the peel in quarters.

it hurts
It's okay...we have had it for a while now, and I think I have stabbed by hand with almost every time I have tried using it to peel and orange. It works well for starting to peel the orange, and then it should be put down.
