This is actually for me and my child. I found this to be the only product that my body will tolerate. I have an allergy to gluten, dairy and must stay away from sugar. It has no taste so it mixes great with anything. I have already ordered one box and will be ordering at least 2 more very shortly since I don’t want to run out of it. This is a great product for people with allergies and sensitive systems. Mr. Frank, owner/founder contacted me to make sure I was pleased with the product and service. My pediatrician first recommended Floratummys last winter. She's a big proponent of probiotics because as she puts it, a child's stomach is the first line of defense so often against germs (since kids ingest everything with their little dirty hands :) ). I wasn't against probiotics, but just wasn't sure they would make all that much of a difference with my girls. They weren't having any stomach issues, they ate well, but I gave them a try and now my children have them every day. This winter they made it through 5 months with no doctor visits! I know there were other reasons besides Floratummys that kept them healthy, but I am a firm believer that keeping the good bacteria in their bodies and the bad out was a huge HUGE help! My kids get one pack a day mixed in with their morning juice and don't even notice. They are flavorless, odorless, and very easy to give to a child. Great product. I highly recommend!

Both of my boys started getting double ear infections once they started going to daycare. They were on antibiotics for several months before I said I had enough, and then they had the surgery to put tubes in their ears. Obviously antibiotics kill the good and bad bacteria, so they suffered from diarrhea. Their pediatrician recommended a probiotic for them. These Flora Tummys were a life saver because it totally got rid of their diarrhea while they were still on the antibiotics. And while there may be some more well known brands out there, these are made in the USA and they are individual packets. I know for the ones that don't come in individual packets, they loose some of their "power" once they are opened and have constant contact with air. So these are perfect for kids on the go. You can just sprinkle it in their juice cup, shake it up and its done. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is a little hard to dissolve, unless u pour it in a little bit at a time and shake, multiple times. That takes to long, so I just dump it in and give it a good hard shake for a few seconds and walla. Sometimes u will see it clumped up, but that's because you didnt shake it right away.

I just purchased a second box of Flora Tummys for my 5 year old son. He went from crying and struggling with bowel movements & tummy discomfort to no more tummy/potty drama with this probiotic. I am one of "those" shoppers that has to do all the research especially before administering something to my little guy. Frank, the owner, answered my call immediately and took the time to answer all my questions. My impression?? He genuinely cares about offering a quality product.The things I really appreciate about this probiotic are:- made in the USA- ingredients (my son has sensitivities to many additives & gluten)- individual packet to ensure efficacy- used in some hospitals to help pre term babies in NICU (it's got to be good)- it really helped my son feel better and I think it is helping his immune system too.

My daughter's 2 week old infant developed a severe infection which required not only hospitalization and IV antibiotics, she was also kept on oral antibiotics for a week or so after she was released from the hospital. The pediatrician (and my husband who is a family practice physician) strongly recommended that she give her baby probiotics. I went on line, searching Amazon for a children's probiotic marketed by a company which tends to require prescriptions for their products. I didn't find what I was looking for in that company, but Amazon recommended this product instead. After discussion with my husband, I ordered the FloraTummys.They seem to have worked very well. Of course, it can be hard to tell with a breast-fed newborn whether they may have minor diarrhea, but my grandaughter was, and is, thriving, Thank G-d. And she must have not minded the taste either, because she made no "yuck" face, which even newborns can do.It is a large package, but worth every penny. The only problem I had was that, while I was ordering the Flora Tummys the webpage kept cutting out and I ended up having one package sent to my daughter and another sent home. It's a good thing my husband works with newborns and young children, because we have none living at home anymore. (Although I know that with Amazon's great policies I could have returned it.)

After much research into beneficial bacterial strains, I found this - Floratummys probiotic sprinkles for kids. I really wanted my multiple allergy toddler to be able to take this to help with his gut and immune system issues but he was having issues with the FOS, fructooligosaccharide, in it that Floratummys uses as a prebiotic. Loose stools, extreme gassines, itchy skin, eczema worse. Ended up going back to his old brand. :(
