I use it to feed guitar straight into mixer and pedal going to mixer. That way I can mix the effect with the clean guitar.Bought a spare but don't think I'll ever need it. Good robust cord.

Heavier than they look
These are not made from plastic. They split a stereo TRS jack into 2 distinct TS jacks. They do what they are supposed to do.

Check for bad/intermittent contact inside the connection point
Each assembly had one intermittent contact in one of the connectors! Very bad, I had no choice but to return them. Seems like a quality control issue to start with. Next order was for HOSA for a similar assembly, but theirs worked great - absolutely solid contact inside the junction point.
