Excellent alternative to plastic
No they’re not exactly the same but they’re as good as the plastic ones. Little stiff at first until wet. They aren’t as rough but work as well as a plastic one. Little splash of water to loosen up dried stuff (which plastic ones need too) & they get rid of all the muck. I’m not changing from these now. No more plastic!! :DAnd for all the people complaining theirs have fallen apart after a month I’ve two things to say:1. The plastic ones fall apart after a month too..2. Who wants to use a manky couple month old sponge??! Smearing your dishes & countertops with whatever bacteria is festering after that long?! No thanks!I don’t have a dish washer so our sponges get used. These last about 6 weeks, the right amount of time before they should be binned imo.**Update - just reordering 8 months later (after giving some away for fam/friends to try) they’re amazing - I’m never buying a plastic one again.**

Pretty great
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been on the hunt for an eco friendly natural sponge for a long time. Most have been disappointing. I was intrigued when I saw these were sold to last a month. This video attached to my review shows the sponge after 5 weeks and 4 days (a month went by quicker than I’d realised lol). The sponge side: held up really well, especially as we’ve used it to clean sharp knives. A few small pieces have come away but no debris was left on the dishes. Holds washing up liquid well and lathers nicely, feels good quality and nice and dense. The scrubber side: pretty good performance. Worn away a fair amount by the month mark, but works pretty well. We eat poached eggs a lot, and I was hoping it could possibly be good enough for removing eggy marks, it’s okay, it’ll take most of it off, but I’ll need to use a wire wool for the more baked on bits (yes I know I should wash it up right away, but I realistically I just don’t😂)All in all I’d give this a 8/10. Worth investing. It lasted well for the month, lathers nicely, scrubs pretty well, doesn’t leave and debris on the dishes, I like how the scrubber is sewn on to help it last, and doesn’t release tons of microplastics down the waterways! Win!Recommended 🙏🏽

Love these - last for ages
Tried lots of different biodegradable sponges. All were good, much to my surprise, but these seemed to last longer than the others

So good
These sponges are great, they actually seem to make my washing up liquid go further and get very foamy. I add washing up liquid to my sponge to clean dishes by hand and live these sponges. The fact that they are eco friendly makes them even better and unlike some companies these come in a recyclable paper box to hold them all. All in all these are very good value, great price, eco friendly, last longer than normal sponges and I will buy more when I need them from the same company. Which won't be as soon as I would normally have to buy them because they are lasting quite long.

Let's start polluting less, cleaning better
The media could not be loaded. It's a eco-friendly natural sponge that does his job perfectly. It's soft, doesn't itch the skin because the abrasive part is less rough. For scraping the stubbor dirt it needs a little bit more pressure on the dishes, but still cleans very good.

Good eco alternative but not cheap
I changed to using eco friendly compostable scourers like these a couple of years ago and changed to this brand about a year ago as my previous ones were discontinued. This type of scourers in general are very similar in size, style and performance. They are much more expensive than supermarket plastic-based products and they are harder to use to remove stubborn stuck-on food, but buying in bulk packs on my Amazon Subscribe & Save I can justify the cost to be conscientious. As mentioned, the scourers part is not particularly good at removing hazard stuck-on food so it can take some effort, but it has been OK on my expensive Tefal non-stick pans with no negatives effects, and the scourers part remains firmly stuck to the sponge part on this particular brand unlike earlier ones I tried, and like many review I read for other products, so on the whole I'm happy. I find one scourers lasts about 2 weeks before it gets too degraded and smelly which is about the same as my old plastic scourers. Soaking overnight in some diluted Zoflora solution every few days helps to keep the pads fresh.Overall I can recommend these scourers if you want an eco-friendly alternative and can afford to pay the higher price, and these seem as good as any in terms of longevity and performance.
