tl;dr at the bottom.Fantastic product. I read through the reviews, a few of the good and of course a ton of the bad to make sure I fully evaluated my purchase. Let me just say, the negative reviews could not be more wrong. While the only con that could be true in negative reviews is the "high" price compared to other pre-workout products. I was slightly nervous that this product could be a bust like many other pre-workouts. But, I was happily surprised when there was no grainy or film feeling left in my mouth like other leading products, I do not feel like I forcing myself to finish every drop, and the post exhaustion and nausea is non-existent. To be clear I am taking one scoop of pulse for about 12-14 ounces of water. The closest thing I can relate the taste to is a grape Popsicle. It is not overly sweet or bitter, but pleasantly even. The Beta Alanine is another thing I was a bit worried about, but in the end was relieved. The tingly sensation (for one scoop) is very mild. I mainly noticed that the tingling was present in my ear, neck, and where my muscles were currently working. There was no discomfort or pre-workout sweats like other products have caused. Finally, I want to comment on the energy boosting effects. Again, I have been taking one scoop and will update if going to two scoops as Pulse suggests for a serving. The energy boost is extremely subtle, but in a good way. Again, reflecting back to other products where I have taken pre-workout and 15-20 minutes later my hands were shaking and I felt the need to workout just to relieve the effects. Pulse is the exact opposite. The boost comes on slow and steady. It doesn't boost you in the beginning and then fade away. All through out the workout I had the same energized feeling. This product is fantastic and at the risk of sounding like the pulse fan club I will end the review with this. If you are sick of your current pre-workout and are looking for a change, look no further than Pulse.Currently using one scoop of Pulse grape. Will update if change.Mixes: I mixed one scoop with 12-14 ounces of ice water and noticed 0 floating particle or clumpsTaste (grape): It is not overly sweet and has no bitter after taste. There is also no film or grainy feeling left in mouth like other products.Energy: Comes on smooth and steady. Does not give a burst and then cause exhaustion like other products but has sustainability.Beta Alanine (Tingly): Again with one scoop. The tingling sensation is mild and does not cause discomfort. In my opinion it is pleasant.After feeling: I have yet to feel exhausted or nauseous with Pulse. That was my biggest complaint with other products and Pulse is truly different.Final Opinion: The taste is smooth, does not clump, and leaves no nasty after tastes or feelings. Pulse is worth the money and will most likely provide you with the boost you are looking for.
