For a new set of rules called RUSH duel. This game is so slow, even on switch, how do you make a hub world lag so much.

At first I thought this was a fun game, until I realized that the new Rush system of the duel allows your opponents to overwhelm you at every corner and it's hard to gain an advantage during the duel against your opponent. This system allows everyone to summon whatever they want during the turn, especially higher level monsters. As well, the traps aren't very good at leveling the field and leaves you wide open when your opponent gets just the monster they want out. As well, when you place several traps and your opponent manages to trip your trap with a spell card to destroy it it really seems like they know which trap is your biggest advantage and quickly remove this card, even know the card is supposed to be placed face down, in truth the decision about what card to pick is supposed to be random. Seems like the AI knows exactly what card to destroy, while we don't have the same advantage when destroying their traps.As well, another thing I didn't like about the game is how they prevent you from building your own deck, and the initial starter decks they give us quickly become ineffective against some of the decks your opponents have, which makes it especially difficult to really build your deck up, we're forced to use a basic deck recipe against a much stronger deck and really have little chance at actually winning the duel.I bought my copy of the game from Nintendo's personal website as the digital version and now I wish I could return it, because I have a hard time actually enjoying the game. In truth, I enjoy Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links a lot more. I wish we had a game like Duel Link's available for the Nintendo Switch, or at least a game that follows the original gameplay story, somewhat like Yu-Gi-Oh And The Sacred Cards, a game in which we could build ourselves up by fighting the weaker duelists until we could eventually take on the stronger duelists, I found the original games much more enjoyable than any game available for the Switch. Seems like all Yu-Gi-Oh games available for the Switch leaves you feeling overwhelmed.....Try again Nintendo... As far as I'm concerned this game is definitely a flop, and it's going into the trash pile. Try again to make a game that can be a little more enjoyable to the player, and especially a little more fair, so that either duelist has a chance, either the AI or the Player.

The new game format is a lot of fun, the video game itself was okay but would love to see more of this style of yugioh video games.

Rush Duels are fun, and the art style is neat and cute. But the story is severely lacking and the characters are just caricature versions written by someone who only got a few pointers on their personalities but didn't watch the anime.

You're better off buying it for cheap online on the Nintendo shop for $39.99 than buying it for this much. Vendors go cray cray when they up the price on Amazon. The game is fun but for this price....no thank you!
