Peanut Patch Margaret Holmes Green Boiled Peanuts, (13.5oz cans)

Wow, I love these! I live in NJ & so no fresh boiled peanuts around here. :( I first tried boiled peanuts on a road trip down to FL. Since then I have been craving that wonderful slightly salty yummy taste. So bought these canned boiled peanuts. Well they are super easy to warm up & taste amazing! Just like the fresh roadside peanuts. Problem solved for me, I don't need to do a road trip just to get boiled peanuts now! LOL Will be buying more in the future, I am sure.

I thought the boiled peanuts cost 99 cents. I tried to return them but they said no return on certain items...and this was on the no return list. I would never pay 9 dollars for boiled peanuts. THIS was a really bad deal for ME

Originally being from the south, I love boiled peanuts. Unfortunately, now living in the north, these aren't as readily available. In fact, most people in Michigan look at me sideways when I mention how great these are. Now that I can get them from Amazon, I'm quite happy. Canned vs fresh will never match up, but I'll take what I can get!

These peanuts are just what I wanted - an enormous salt bomb of squishy peanut-y goodness that I can use to more efficiently manufacture tomorrow's regrets today.When you've had a few beers and it's getting later than you should be up and you start wanting a snack, these are great. Pour the whole can into a tupperware and microwave it for a couple of minutes. Drain off most of the liquid and sit and watch old episodes of Louie while you make a mess opening each fibrous, briny pouch of canned legume. Keep a paper towel handy if you don't want your shirt encrusted with salt like the pylons of an ancient pier. Keep at it! Eat the whole can. Have another beer. Repeat with half of a second can.The next day, with your bloated, sodium-stiffened fingers, look wonderingly at the nutritional information and realize you ate *nine* servings. Marvel. Take a diuretic. Maybe retire to your tooting parlor for a bit.Be glad you ordered six cans, because damn was that delicious.Taking off one star because each can contains several rotten looking nuts.
