I’m originally from New Zealand and had a long, hard road finding a proper wool wash in the USA. Merino wool for example is extremely susceptible to holes if it’s washed with the likes of Woolite, because of the chemicals in it. I still use Woolite on my delicates (bras, sports leggings, etc) but on my woolens I use Molly Suds. I don’t find it has a magical smell or magical cleaning power. However, it does what I need it to do - gently cleanse my wool clothes without damaging them. By only using it for that purpose my first bottle of Molly Suds has (surprisingly, since the bottle’s not that big) lasted a year. I’m happy enough with the results that I’m buying it again.

I love this little, but powerful, but gentle, bottle of laundry detergent for delicates! I’ve bought it several times in place of Woolite and have not been disappointed. You use less, it smells good but never irritates my sensitive skin, and is super easy to use for both machine washing and hand washing. I’m definitely going to continue using this for all my gentle cycle and hand wash clothing. Oh! And there are no dyes in it either. (Because honestly, why do companies think dark blue dyed detergent is more appealing?!). It’s a win. Get it. You’ll like it!!

This detergent is designated as delicate wash liquid and it seems to do the job for that purpose. It does however, have a bit of an odor that is not particularly pleasant to me. As noted by others it does not create suds, but that is just something to note and not indicative of performance. Still, the odor.....
