Our old female dog seems to be getting more frequent urinary track infections. It’s much easier for me to capture her urine at home, pour it into this cup and take it to the vet to have it checked rather than subject her to the car ride and walking in. Doesn’t leak

Chose this product for the value of the price. If looking for something to get the job done with a reasonable price. Pick this. Otherwise pick one up when you visit your local doctor!

As stated in the title, this does NOT come with labels. The lid has an etched/embossed in label, but it does not come with sticker labels. I bought this to put my dog's pee in for the vet. They came in a plastic-y envelope inside the Amazon prime envelope. I haven't used them yet, but it's very sturdy and a good size. I won't be collecting the sample till Thursday (June 24th), I'll update if anything goes amiss or information needs to be added.

Nice to have some on hand. They are just perfect when needed, having a home blood draw for technician to take to lab.

I suggest these cups plus the strips bought here on Amazon to show if you have a UTI. Write your name and DOB on the cup.As soon as you do the sample in the cup take it asap to a lab where you can drop it off. Usually labs will let you do a drop off specimen without an appt. check first.If you get uti's I suggest you ask your dr. for an undated script that you keep on you for C & S, which means culture and sensitivity. This is what we do in our practice--we give patients with recurrent UTI undated scripts for C & S ...make copies of them so you have them..keep one with you in your wallet or purse. Labs are open usually 6 days a week even with the covid.

With three pets at home, my husband and I find ourselves needing to drop off "samples" at the vet more than we'd like to admit. We were tired of getting creative (old tupperware? Ziploc bag?) with our collection methods, and decided to buy these to make our lives easier (and cleaner). Since we only needed them to make a quick run to the vet, we didn't need the enhanced security features of some of the more expensive options here on Amazon.We'll have no trouble scribbling our pets' names on the label, and it seals well enough to make the car ride without any spillage. Like others said, there is no extra security in regards to packaging--all three are in the same plastic bag. If you're using these for reasons similar to mine, this shouldn't be an issue.
