[Upgraded] Anti-Aging Serum DONGINBI Daily Defense Serum EX, Anti-Wrinkle & Antioxidant Serum for Face, Korean Red Ginseng Skin Care - 1.01Oz

My first time using Donginbi products, what can I say? It's been a revelation! Ok, I haven't really taken care of my skin so far and since I'm now on the wrong side of 45 I decided to take the plunge. I have combination skin with a particularly oily T-zone, and after trying some mattifying lotions which made the oiliness worse than before, I just gave up.Skin concerns- very oily skin, small pimples on and around my chin, and deep laughter lines on the sides of my mouth. I really didn't expect to see any changes at the end of the day.With my limited budget I bought this Upgraded Anti-aging Daily Defence Serum EX as well as the Donginbi Red Ginseng Moisture & Firming Facial Emulsion lotion; and twice daily I have applied the serum, then the lotion after cleansing and toning. A little goes a long way.ResultsAfter about a week I started noticing some changes in my skin tone and texture - my face looks brighter, pores definitely are reduced; and best of all the laughter lines are not as deep. My infamously oily T-zone still gets oily but not as quickly and as much. No fresh breakouts on my chin.After 3 weeks -almost smooth chin, and the T-zone has not changed much from week one. The laughter lines are now about an inch and some down from the sides of my nose. They used to reach a little past my bottom lip. If I had known my face would change for the better I would have taken before and after pictures, but I really didn't expect much beyond maybe some well moisturized skin.I am very happy with Donginbi so far, and I am thinking of buying more of the brand's products. Definitely.

This “essence” by donginbi is a really great product. I love these red ginseng products, its powerful and potent stuff, and I really see (and feel) difference in my skin. They are not cheap products so I use them once a day, except for the softener I use that one in my evening skincare routine as well. Since the product is so potent only a couple drops are needed. The serum absorbs quickly and smoothly into skin, and the ginseng scent kind of grossed me out at first, but I now I enjoy the earthy scent.

I bought the serum along with the emulsion. I appreciate how ginseng is an antioxidant alternative if I want to take a break from using a vitamin C serum. This ginseng serum gives my skin a glow, plus provides other anti-aging benefits. While I've never experienced irritation from using a vitamin C serum, I know it can be tricky for others. People may want to explore ginseng for this reason. Donginbi is a well-respected brand for ginseng products.

This is a really nice serum with a really nice and lightweight texture that sinks into the skin easily. I have been using it for about a month now and my skin definitely feels softer and looks more radiant. It is hydrating and not irritating to my skin, plus it has a pleasing (but subtle) scent. Of course I can't speak to the anti-aging benefits in such a short amount of time, but I am confident that this is giving me a lot of benefits.I took off a star because of the packaging; unfortunately the pump on mine has stopped working, making it very difficult to use up the serum. It's possible that I just got a defective one, but it would easily be a 5 star product without this issue.

Got a recommendation from a friend on this serum since my Estée Lauder one is running out and I wanted to try something new.The package alone I think looks way more expensive than EL serum, and I like how it auto fills the tube every time I put the cap back on. Very smart design.I was impressed with the soothing scent of ginseng. It is exactly the same scent as the ginseng we cook with, so I am pretty convinced that it’s made of natural ginseng, not artificial scent. That’s also why I wanted to switch to a natural skincare product, to avoid artificial additives as much as possible.This serum spreads very easily on my skin, not oily at all. And it’s quickly absorbed by my skin. Blends well with my moisturizer too. I really like it. Look forward to using it more.

There are minimal instructions as to how to use this product. Which one do you use first , when do you use it, etc.
