Tip breaks a lot
Seems to be an original Prismacolor colored pencil. However, I find when I buy my Prismacolor pencils from Amazon, the lead breaks a lot. I use a metal hand pencil sharpener and I find the Amazon pencils break off the tip a lot when I sharpen them. Not everytime but most of the time. If I buy my Prismacolor pencils from say Michael’s, I find this doesn’t happen as often. Maybe the lead is softer, I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s the way Amazon stores them, like they get so cold they freeze or maybe they get so hot they melt. I’m not sure. Other than that, they seem to be original Prismacolor coloring pencils.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! LOVE this Prismacolor SCARLET LAKE red!!
Prismacolor colored pencils are soft, wax-based pencils which are great to work with! I really like the SCARLET LAKE RED, and have bought several over time. I like their other deep reds too. I just wish they were less expensive, though. They don't last too long because I use them so often.
