This safe is terrible!
When I bought the safe, it arrived with a faulty wire in the locking mechanism. I looked at the manufacturer's warranty only to discover that I had to ship the safe to their warehouse (at my expense) to get them to service it. I submitted a warranty request anyways - heard nothing. I've also been trying to talk to a company rep over the phone for the greater part of a year (without success). The warranty period is officially over, which I believe is a breach of contract on their part. I caved and had to spend $150 on a locksmith to repair a pre-existing problem that the company should have been able to work out with me.With all that being said, the shelving unit for the interior of the safe was very poorly designed. The pieces fit together about as well as a 2nd grader's play fort. I'm still trying to figure out how the shelving can even be used without the whole thing collapsing.I bought this safe because of its fireproof rating and because of the competitive pricing but if I would've known the product and service would be this bad, I would have bought a Liberty.
