Carbon fiber bows and arrows
This set of bows and arrows is designed for training. The length of the quiver included can be adjusted to contain different types of arrows. Both of the bow pieces and arrows are made of carbon fiber. The bright color design of the nock tail can be detected in the field. a piece of fur is attached to the arrow rest for protection.

Husband loves it
Got it as a starter kit and he loves it. Shoots in the yard where day. Needs new arrows already and just got it for Christmas but he uses it a lot.

It works
Easy to put together. Didn't take more than 10 minutes. I also took it out and shot it and seems to work just fine. For the price I paid I think it's a reasonably good deal for a beginner to practice with. As for longevity, I don't think this will last 2 years but it's alright. It's still a fair price. I do wish they had a left handed or an ambidextrous one.

Meh
The bow is okay, it isn't great and I have used some beginner bows that shoot better than this. There is nothing on the bow itself listing draw length or strength so you have to resort to the listing to obtain the strength but I don't see the draw length. The arms, even with two bolts, come loose and can shift so you have to pay attention. The included arrows are not designed for a recurve and you get a ton of wobble of the string degrading accuracy. I will continue playing around with it in my backyard and use it to teach my daughter once she can draw the string.

54" steinbrucke archery bow, fiberglass split after 4 mths
I'm 68 & I used it for occasional fun. It was very easy to use until it broke. I would like for the company to replace it at no cost to me.

nice starter bow
I have been on the lookout for a nice recurve bow. Our state has a archery range not far from my house, and we have been out with our kids and their little fiberglass bows. I have a nice compound bow, but it is hard for me to pull back, they are unable. Wanted something that was a full size, adult, but easier to shoot. It is no fun to shoot if you are struggling. This is a complete starter set. Bow comes disassembled and with everything else inside the plastic tube. If I am going to shoot, I will assemble it at home, but if I am going camping or something and may have the opportunity, I could easily stick the whole tube in my car and be ready if the opportunity presents itself. It comes with a bow (not assembled), 10 target arrows, an arm guard, a shooting tab, and even a bunch of paper targets. Assembly was super easy, especially if you have ever shot before. The arms go onto the handle with two little screws (comes with an allen wrench), string the bow and you are ready to shoot.I think if you wanted to hunt some animals you could probably use this, but it is more for target practice. It is not super powerful, so it might be difficult to harvest a larger animal. And it comes with target arrows, so you would obviously want something different for hunting. I say it is a starter bow as there are a few little things missing. For example, the arrow rest is built into the handle, so possible that as the fletchings pass, it could pull the arrow down and to the left. For a few years I used to teach archery for kids, and we would put them right up next to the target so that they would hit it. There is nothing more discouraging than shooting a set of arrows and none of them hitting the target. So any advantage you can have to make it more accurate for practice is great. It would not be hard to fix a little rubber arrow rest in the handle. But it is a five star product for what it is. If you have been shooting for years, own several bows, this may not be the first one you grab, but if you are bringing a friend or relative shooting, this certainly could be the one you grab for them. It is very straight forward, easy to use while learning to shoot. It is a really fun, starter bow. Well built, love that it stores away (and the tube can be a quiver also). And it includes everything you may need starting out, the arm guard, the finger tab, even some targets. Very nice product!

Excellent Value
Great starter set for adults. It has a 40 pound pull, which takes a bit of strength. Not for kids. Tough and durable. The arrows aren't great, but the bow is well worth the money, and the arrows are okay to start. I got more, better ones, when I needed them, but it wasn't a bad thing to wear out these lower quality arrows making dumb little mistakes as I learned. Not as fun for me as a compound bow, but still enjoyable. It was fun to compare the two types, and many of the skills I learned first on the compound applied to this recurve. When you get additonal arrows, it is important to do some research and consult with someone with expertise because not all arrows work well in all bows. It can be dangerous to mix the wrong ones. As I mentioned, with some good coaching this is a decent starter at a good value.
