Solid performer, great connectivity
I wanted a 15.6" laptop with 10-key numeric keypad, 32GB memory, and a minimum 1TB storage. I also wanted some full sized USB (A) ports, USB-C with video output capability, and an RJ45 network connector, to directly link to a router or LAN if/ when needed, and a discrete GPU.This Samsung model is not the lightest weight laptop in the market, but it meets all the above needs and more.ProsAll the features I was looking for above are met in this laptop. With a little (MS) hassle, I was able to upgrade from Home to Windows 11 Pro, and I then added MS Office Pro 2021, all running perfectly. Graphics performance is excellent (relatively quiet, even when fully loaded). And after adding Dolby and DTS codecs (MS store), audio is very impressive for a thin laptop.ConsThe laptop comes with Windows 11 HOME edition, not Pro. And it seems not to recognize some of the microSD chips I have (it reads my 4, and 8 GB, but can't read my off-brand 32GB chips). This model is not touchscreen (I didn't care at all, but this may be a point for some people). And again, there are other, lighter weight options in the market.Regrets? No, I don't regret this purchase. MS Windows 11 took...a little getting used to, and some adjustment. Example, I HAD TO put the start button back on the left - I HATE having it in the center (take this as feedback, MS!). VPN toggle is more convenient, though it still doesn't include OpenVPN as an option, without add-on software (again, MS, feedback!). But I'm very happy with the product so far.

DO NOT BUY
I was really excited about this laptop, but I've been extremely disappointed. One thing that should make you run: you can never replace the charger. The charger is extremely heavy, so I called Samsung to find a replacement. After much runaround (more than 2 hours at this point) they can't find a replacement or tell me the requirements for the laptop. One person said that it is 135 Watts, but go look for yourself, there are no 135 Watt chargers for Samsung (only Lenovo, and who knows if that works, the manual says that the wrong charger can destroy your laptop and at those power levels, they're probably right).I have plugged two docking stations into the laptop and they work for the monitors, but not for charging. Some of the other issues: It can't boot to USB, you can't easily open the laptop, you must accept the privacy agreements to do much of anything (like check your order or get support) which are basically forcing you to agree that you could be constantly recorded, and Samsung can build a biometric profile for you and anyone in earshot / visible to the laptop. I'm not exaggerating. This is my summary that I tried to publish to the Samsung website, but I hit the word limit:- Poor support and documentation. I had an ATIV-4 for years that was awesome and had awesome support, but this is gone.- USB-C ports are not standard, so docking stations don’t work.- GIANT and VERY HEAVY charging brick / cable.- BIOS is very limited, undocumented, confusing, and basic features don’t work (unable to boot to USB)- The BIOS has many super weird keys that make me think the computer won't work if you change anything.- The HD is PCIE not STATA, and the case is sealed, so no changing hard drives- Insecure privacy agreements. Native applications collect personal data, and every Samsung interaction requires full authorization to all private data for Samsung and affiliates. So your TV will be helping your laptop collect data.- The numpad / keyboard layout is different than previous Samsun keyboards so I find myself hitting delete instead of enter constantly.- Hard to manage performance; it uses about 24GB just after booting.

Battery Man! BATTERY
The laptop is fine enough to game but it doesn't have that much of battery life it takes up to an hour and a half before it ask for a charge. But I don't mind it I usually have my laptop connected just when I'm gaming

It's worth the money
Briefly. I like the computer enough to look for a new one for my lovely wife. The computer is not perfect but in 30 years of using brands including high-end Apple, HP, Dell, and others none were perfect. $25000 for each Apple in the late 1990s to work with mostly HP servers with hot switch drives and continuous file backup drives was the best for the money and did what we needed. It's all an evolution. This computer works well at a reasonable price. It has elevated levels of RAM and a 1 TB drive with a very capable Nvidia GEOFORCE RTX video card. The main issue with this computer was finding a charger (I did find one). But I found a better solution today! And it is 140 Watts, not 135 watts, which won't work. Anchor makes several 140-watt chargers. One has 140-watt and three 100-watt ports. On Amazon. You will need a USB-C cable rated at 140 watts (also at Amazon).Good luck. And I do not work for Samsung or Amazon.
