Update: The 4 additional magnetic door stops that I ordered arrived today. Each of these did come with both screws and plastic wall screw mounts. Also note that I have edited the sentences depicting the order of the pictures shown below.This product was quick and easy to install. It works great and looks nice.No instructions came with this product and screws were not provided; however, I had 5 little screws that worked perfectly and the installation was so easy that I did not need instructions.Below, the 3rd picture on the left shows the anchor plate attached with 2 screws to the baseboard. Place the anchor bolt through the hole on the plate before attaching it to the wall.The 5th picture shows what the magnetic door stop looks like once you screw it to the anchor bolt.The 4th picture shows the magnetic that you attach to the door with 3 screws and the ring that goes over it to hide the screws.The 2nd picture shows the door mounted magnet once the ring cover is attached.The 1st picture is taken behind the door showing the magnets holding the door open.This product can be installed to the wall or to the floor. If the door and wall do not open parallel to each other, I would recommend that the base plate be attached to the floor so that the magnets will be flush.I like this door stop so much that I have decided to buy 4 more.I recommend this product to family, friends, and others looking for a magnetic door stop that is powerful, holds the door securely open, looks nice, and is easy to install.Enjoy!

I had a couple of rooms where floor cleaning robots would go into a room and manage to close the door behind them. These have solved that problem. If I have a complaint, connecting and pulling away the door from the magnet makes a loud enough "pop" that it can wake someone out. Still, it does the job very nicely, is very sturdy and looks good.

Good doorstop, poor magnet

This door stop looks great, and has a strong magnet, and will hold a pretty heavy door easily. The door stop is also fairly tall -- which can be good if you need the height to clear the bottom of the door. However, the height gives the door a lot of leverage when they slam together. If you use the relatively small screws that are included, a good slam can pull them out. I would recommend anchoring the door stop more substantially, either with longer screws or some kind of anchor under the floor.

This works great, even for doors with self-closing hinges. My only gripe is after ordering another of these some time later, the second unit differs in detail. It still works just as well, but attaches with slightly different hardware. Although I preferred the first one I got, it still performs well and looks almost as good so still 5 stars.

Installed carefully so everything would line up. Still have to put the door up against it extremely slowly so it will stick.
