It is a brilliant device for fermenting almost everything.
I bought it after Kenji Lopez-Alt recommended it in his book on the Wok. I've been fermenting for a while, using different glass bottles and valves. I never liked the fiddling around to keep bits from coming up and landing up with white yeast if I sampled my stuff along the way. My wife hates the smell of Kimchi, so I burp my container outside. I've fermented many vegetables and kimchis in it with superb results. With no hesitation, I will state I believe it is the best device I have. Fido bottles I burp come second. They are easy to clean, go in the fridge and microwave and there are no fiddly bits. I can bung it into the dishwasher without it hitting the rotor. There is no fiddling with water in valves, I can use less liquid and I get no yeast or mold. What more can a fermenter ask for?

Sehr gute Behälter
Ich habe mir die 2x 3,4L Behälter gekauft, um meinen Kimchi zu fermentieren. Bis jetzt verläuft alles sehr gut und die Handhabung ist auch sehr einfach. Für ca. 3,5kg Chinakohl reichen die beiden Behälter locker aus.

the lid and the rubber inside have gap and didn’t close properly
mine didn’t come as expected quality. the lid is not clicking close properly and the rubber inside have gap. been waiting on new ones to be sent to me. i was excited to use it but was disappointed.

They are Amazing!
Love the product, it does exactly as shown. Keeps the mf kimchi nice and fresh! I liked them cause I didn’t have to burp it every day like I have to with jars!
