Q: One or two of the lights ,have a low level hum , it can be a bit annoying. Is this common?

The low level hum is from the magnetic ballast in the light fixture. To minimize the noise, make sure the ballast is tightly secured onto the fixture. If it is loose, the fixture amplify the humming noise. Thanks. Customer support New York LED Luminaries

My ballast was fine I just needed a brighter bulb. It was a simple install, unplug the old and plug in the new, and viola a brighter work space.
