Have used this for 5 years now. This stuff is amazing. If you think you might need it, you do.
I'll try to post some pics, but this stuff is great. Bought originally to mend the inner lining of a Burton jacket (which it did, and is still holding up after 5 years), but have used it on many things... fixed tearing shoes, reinforced iron-on patches, arrested tearing pocktets, etc. Most recently, it reattached a sole separating from a sneaker. ...and I have worn the sneakers every day since with the sole reaffixed. I did finally run out of my supply with this last project and am buying again to keep around the house. You have to be realistic about expectations. There are some jobs that require sewing, true patching, etc. But, if you think you might need a glue that will maintain bond, yet be flexible enough (it is not entirely flexible) to give with light motion, this is it.Once I get my resupply, I am actually going to use it on some upholstery. This stuff is great. A tube will be in my possession at all times for the rest of my life.

Effective at getting patches to truly adhere to new girl scout vests and sashes!
The new girl scout vests and sashes are made from recycled plastic (no longer cotton) and while that may be better for the environment, it's all but impossible to get patches to stick to the new vests and sashes with just a regular iron, even on the hottest setting. We tried super glue and unfortunately that did not work. I heard good things about Aleene's Platinum Bond Adhesive Fabric Glue on different girl scout social media pages and decided to give it a try. All I can say is it's awesome and definitely works!! Patches stay on, corners don't peel off... I'm so glad we got this!!

Works as expected.
I bought this product after reading a review where a reviewer had some technical clothing that came apart at the sealed seams. I also had a similar issue, but it wasn’t due to an errant hot water wash cycle, but just from normal wear and tear.Use this stuff sparingly because a little goes a long way. There are two caps, one is used to puncture the tube, and the other is a longer tube cap as seen from the pictures. I didn’t use the extended cap at all. I just squeezed out a very small amount and used a tooth pick to spread the glue into the fabric joints. It helps to treat the glue like paint and tape up areas that you wouldn’t want to have paint “splatter”. Another important tip is to clamp down the glued areas and wait for the glue to dry. For my “clamps” I had used a few neodymium magnets and inserted the seams in between them. I had also used a small amount of aluminum foil to cover the magnets just to keep the glue off of the magnets, just in case the glue had seeped out of the fabric joints. If used sparingly, then there shouldn’t be too much worry about the glue seepage, but just as a precaution, scraping small amounts of foil off is much easier than trying to separate a magnet that has been glued to the fabric.Clamping down the glue will create an extra strong bond. I believe those that found this glue lacking, must not have clamped down the glued areas, because the glue works great and is not at all noticeable if applied correctly.

STICKY as heck - that's a good thing
Used it along with fabric glue to "fix" our retractable awning edges. Not pretty, but we wanted something that could endure outside weather. This looks like strong stuff.I'm going to fold it over on itself to keep our inside rugs from slipping also.

Good, but didn't work perfectly for my application
This is a good glue for most craft purposes, but it was not able to strongly bond to fuzzy 100% wool felt. It did not flow enough to get deep into the fibers for a good grip. If I smooshed it into the fibers, then it didn't have enough "tack" to also grab the smooth plastic cabochon I was trying to apply.

This is the one to get, the others are trash! Super strong hold!
I bought three different fabric glues to try before using them on jeans. I took an old pair of jeans and cut squares and followed all the directions to apply. After 24 hours, the fabric was impossible to pull apart. Two days later after a wash and dry, same results. This was NOT the case with two other brands that I tried. Stuff is flexible and super strong. Zero problems with application. Cannot wait to reinforce my jeans!

Very good
Used to glue a patch onto a cap. So far it is still on and the cap has gone through a few washes.
