Finally found something I can use to show my travels of the world. Magnets work very well and adhere to globe well. It also serves educationally for my grandson (and me) on geographic points of the world and where they are. Thinking a about getting one for a gift for someone. If I had a specific spot that would fit it, I believe it came in different sizes and maybe I would have ordered it a little bigger but this size is perfect for many places currently in my house to change the location around. I would highly recommend this. Very sturdy and easy to assemble. Just screw the globe to the stand.

I am very disappointed , i was expecting 30 pines in the package for my first christmas gift as a married couple for my husband.... There was no pines, i was shock, it's quite expensive for a terrestrial globe.
