Good for diy builds
Used for a diy arcade machine and seems to work flawlessly. Super easy to setup and program. Plus has a few bonus mode buttons. Lights are really bright and none stick

Decent and affordable buttons for a virtual pinball machine
This set of joystick/button/usb controller combination was the perfect set for my budget minded virtual pinball machine. The price for this set was very affordable and the buttons light up and function as they should. Though I’ve used these buttons for everything from coin adding, game start, plunger, nudge and flipper buttons, I might choose to upgrade the flipper buttons in the future for more responsive switch buttons. Overall, the quality is great for the price and the controller board was easy to map using a software such as Joytokey, Antimicro or Xpadder. The responsiveness of the buttons and joystick are acceptable for my likes.

Excellent setup for the price
I was looking at arcade fight stick options for the pc, most notably the 8bitdo and the mayflash. I happened to have some extra wood laying around and decided to just build my own using this kit. I am definitely not disappointed with the end result. The light up buttons look and feel amazing. The joystick is marked "sanwa" so I don't know if it is a legit sanwa or a counterfeit (this does come from china Afterall). One thing that is different from the past EG starts kits that I have purchased is that the switches and the buttons are all in one package. That means that once the switch goes bad you have to replace the whole button. It does make the profile smaller though.

THIS IS NOT A PRO KIT - IF YOU ARE LOOKING A FOR THE BEST OF THE BEST THIS IS NOT YOUR KIT
I came looking for silver and I found gold. THIS IS NOT A PRO KIT - IF YOU ARE LOOKING A FOR THE BEST OF THE BEST THIS IS NOT YOUR KIT. First of all I just buy this product because I only need a few buttons. So finally I decided to build up a complete arcade stick just for fun. I found this pack easy as hell to set it up and configure it. You just need to grab any box you want to put all this stuff in and that's all, just connect the cables and voila. I did it quick on a old tea box, very broken, just to give it a quick try (see pictures). I heard a lot of negatives things about this package like " they where not good enough" "usb interface is awfull" , etc, but after I finished to connect everything worked as a charm, even with a pc or the raspberry pi 3. The USB interface works great, and there is no need of an external power supply for the 5v Leds. I have a 1.5amp on my Raspberry and worked perfectly with leds too. So, yes, the stick works amazing but the buttons are not that great. Since I'm going to use it as an spear mame machine it's fine.

Works great on virtual pinball.
Used them with Visual Pinball, Future Pinball, Popper, and PinballY. Mapping took a little to figure out, some of the software tells you the button number when you press it for learning. Had one bad button in the bunch, but very happy. We beat the heck out of them on some pinball tables when we play. If the video card can handle the resolution, the buttons are zero delay. One note, the provided connection cords are very short for a pinball cabinet. and i spent hours splicing and heat shrinking in new lengths as I couldnt find longer cables to purchase. These also are smaller form factor than the other button types with the separate light extension that you have to daisy chain, so big plus.

Buttons stick quickly
Just a few days of work and the buttons are already sticking. That might be fine for personal use, but I am building something for a device that won't be attended by me. :(This set is a bargain, the lights work great. Everything was easy to setup. The buttons are all the same size, which some of the reviewers are confused about. The white buttons that say COIN and have a human figure can be easily disassembled and the stickers removed. The USB encoder appears as a Joystick when plugged into a PC. As far as I can tell the USB encoder can't be programmed to send different keystrokes than the joystick buttons. So I use "Auto Hot Key" to essentially bind the joystick buttons to keyboard strokes.

Excellent product
First time building my own controller, and it was actually surprisingly very easy. I assumed it was gonna be complicated(I was never that savvy with electronics),but once I saw those lights light up and then used the controller to play on my homemade bartop arcade..my jaw literally dropped and this is very amazing. I'll be buying more for sure!

Great for Raspberry Pi3 B+
This is a great easy to use set for a Raspberry Pi3 project. I choose to build a 3/4 scale cabinet using these. It turned out perfect and look very good. The quality is equal to and maybe even a little better than stock Arcade 1up buttons. These are by DragonRise Inc and work well with a clean retropie image. A great buy!
