I absolutely LOVE these paints! I discovered my passion for painting in college and thought that I would paint for the rest of my life. Unfortunately, I developed multiple health challenges a few years after graduating from college, and this made me incredibly sensitive to chemicals. I was devastated when I realized that I might never be able to paint again because all of my painting supplies were loaded with toxins. Then I discovered Natural Earth Paint pigments, which are just as vibrant and high-quality as the professional-grade paints I used in college. The only difference between them is that Natural Earth Paint pigments are 100 percent free of toxins and harmful chemicals! I feel great when I use them and have never experienced any sensitivity to any Natural Earth Paint products. I love what this company is doing, and I wished that more art companies would follow its lead. Art supplies that are safe for artists AND the planet should be the standard, not the exception.

I'm surprised how much product you get in the packages, from the oils to the pigments. I'm mainly using these for watercolors with a handmade binder, and I find even just a teaspoon yields two half pans that rewet easily with a great pigment payout! Love it! I'll be having a lot of fun with these. I may just order more when I dabble with making oil pastels.
