I was attaching my poly rope straight to the controller and the pigs kept challenging it and breaking the line. Switched to these for my connection and it is lighting them up when they try now. Lit me up too and I can tell you that it is 3 times as strong now and this was the only change I made.

The wire insulation and connection to contact rings is thicker than the thickness of the actual terminal ring itself, so the plastic caps on the energizer terminals cannot be screwed down tight enough to make good contact. If you stack a couple washers between the wire contact rings and the terminal cap, it works well. Great product, long leads, easy to connect. Would've been 5 stars except they should have included some washers for the energizer connections, or used thicker contact rings on the wires.
