I was a hairdresser in my younger years. So figure how hard could it be. Thinning shears keep from harsh lines and can blend/fade clipper lines. Mine were not curved or long. I would say these are as good as Rocket Dog thinning shears. I used only 3 times. Just like any thing shears you do have to knock the hair off time to time which is annoying.

I love these scissors and they are great for getting those cute teddy bear heads but I think they should be more in the $30-35 price range.

These are made up of great material, I feel like their strong and durable, I don't think their worth $50 dollars. But they get the job done

If you open the shears all the way the teeth get caught against the blade when closing. Honestly that is a huge issue. I can use them and just open them a bit but I wouldn’t expect to pay for a flaw like this. I can’t imagine that kind of flaw went unseen when designing these! *after one use I’ve checked to see if they’re catching still and they’re not. Still not thrilled that I had that issue in the first place.
