yes, the road bike bars work well with the tarmac sl7, but should work with 31.8mm bike stem.

Q: Anyone know the width of the 31.8 section? I’m looking to put tri bars on these and need 22mm either side of the stem.

You’ll need a 31.8mm stem for the 31.8mm road bike bar. Measure the handlebar you’re replacing with a measuring tape. If the circumference of your handlebar is 100mm, the aero handlebars 31.8 will fit.
