TrackIR 5 Pro & TrackClip Pro Optical Track System NEW

I had the TrackIR4 for several years and it ended up breaking off it's mounting stand. I found this new one and ordered it after seeing it has the optical track clips as well. I was surprised that include both types of clips so the track can follow your head movement, the clip that you add to your hat and one to your head phone. Works great like it should. Great set to replace my old one and at a good price.

No stars for "thickness" or "warmth" as I have no idea how these terms apply to the TrackIR! But it was shipped quickly, set up easily, and works wonderfully. I've heard of some other sellers pawning off cheap chinese knock offs of this product, claiming they are legitimate TrackIRs. But this one from this seller is the real deal for a good price. Very happy.

This is the closest you can get to VR without spending the big bucks for the real thing. But before purchasing, make sure the title you want to play is listed on their website - not all games work with it. I use It for MS Flight Simulator and really does add to the experience.

I have been searching and trying different cheaper head tracking device for a long time, but not thing come close to trackir. Trackir is very accurate and easy to setup. Don't waste your time and money on other product. It is worth it.

This has been a great product so far. It has added an extra layer of enjoyability to the games that are supported by it.

I purchased this product for use with MSFS 2020, along with a Honeycomb Alpha control. The Track IR is vastly superior to the Alpha hat switch. It was functional straight out of the box; however there are good videos online for fine tuning it's reaponse.

It’s definitely a game changer. I really like it. Once you get the settings tweaked it’s almost perfect. I wear glasses... it very often picks up reflections from the screen on my glasses and it makes the screen freak out. Even on the most forgiving sensitivity settings.... which is not constant but it almost always happens at the most intense times during a dcs flight. Like landing on a carrier at night. Or in a 2v1 dogfight. Altogether though, not something I’ll ever not use, even when I get VR, I’ll still use trackir.

Was excited to get this device, however I didn't find it as useful as I had hoped. I think I'll hold out for an oculus headset.
