You can read with them
They fold flat. Adjust the nose piece. You can read with them.

Total convenience. Never lose your glasses again!!
The only issue is that they tend to slip off but perhaps because I have a small face. However, they are so convenient - because they fold perfectly flat - you can put them in small spaces...carry them in a case with your phone. You don't lose them as easily because they are easy to fold and put away safely and take up 1/4" of space in depth. They are lightweight but very well made and sturdy. And they are attractive. I bought my first pair in England several years ago at an art museum and was happy to find them again. Highly recommended - so much better than average drugstore reading glasses. They all seem to stay cleaner longer.

Used product - was suppose to be new!
Received glasses and it is clear that they have been used. No "optical grade" sticker on the glass portion (comes with all of these glasses when they are new), had figure prints all over the lenses and make up on the nose holders.
