UPDATE: 4/16/2024After Changing The Driver side Last Year The Passenger Side Now Sounds Like A Dyeing COW! Now 120K Miles So The Factory Bearings Are Engineered To Fail! In No Car Van Or Truck I Have Ever Owned Other Than a 1971 Chevy Nova Has Anything Ever Needed Wheel Bearing and Back Then It Was a Bearing and a Race needed Replacement EZ-Peezy $20 Bucks, Now It's A Hub Assembly! I Have Owned (5) 1987-2003 Astro/Fari Vans That Went 400k-500K Miles and Not One Needed A Wheel Bearing But That Was Before The New Standard Of Engineering That Repairs is Where The MONEY IS!Here We Go Again To Get This HUB Out After 10 Years! So $157 And I Do It Or Pay Subaru $900 To Do It! All You Need is A Little Chisel and Hammer In The Right Place Is The Secret! It Sucks If You Live In New England and Have 100k Miles Trust Me But Watch Youtube Vids and The Chisel Ones Is How It's Done! I Went To Subaru and They Offered To Give Me A Deal On This Part $279.79, Its A Fun Project With a 36 Pack Of Beer! Just Make Sure Everything Is Tight! Your Not Getting A Torque Wrench In There And Use Anti-Seize If Your Keeping Your Subaru Another 100K?Read Below From My Last Adventure With Subaru Wheel Hubs :O(I Also Want To Say That Now They Have $80 Thousand Dollar Vehicles With 16 Cameras But Not One Focused On The Raw Steel Engineered To Rust Under The Vehicle! Gas Lines, Break Lines etc. But Stopping Is a Great Feature! That's Not A Problem For Them If Your Warrantee Has Expired. These Hubs Look Industrial But Some Have This Problem in 70K GREASE FITTINGS? Naa, We Can't Let You Do Maintenance! Its A Washing Machine!Just Replaced the REAR DRIVER Side on a 2014 XT Forester with 115K miles In the RUST Belt!Trust Me You Do Not Want After Market That Might Last 15K miles because Your Not Going To Want To Do This Repair Again!I Would Have Went With TIMKEN Over Genuine Subaru Because I am an Industrial Automation Mechanic and Timken Is Beyond Quality but the Replacement Subaru Hub Is Some Chinese Trash In a Timken Box That Lasts 15K miles and Gets Noisy again. Watch Every Youtube Video Before Doing This Job and Read The Comments To Make Sure You Are Prepared For What Some Make Look EZ But Are Low Miles In Florida because Its a Much Different Ball Game With Salt and Miles (RUST) You Can Do More Damage That will Cost Thousands and Weeks To Repair! This Is Difficult For Seasoned Professional Subaru Mechanics! You Can Save $900 Doing It Yourself Or Cost Yourself Thousands So It Might Be Better To Bring It To Subaru That knows How To Do It Fast and with no other damage caused by a regular shop that will also Charge You For the Extra Hours It Takes To Fight Getting It Out and They Will Charge You For the Damage They Cause as well telling You The Part Was Seized So They Needed To Replace The Rear Housing Assembly as well! $3,800.65 I Did It With No Damage at a Cost Of $160.00 plus the Cost of a 32mm Socket and Yes You Need Air Tools and Impact Guns and a 3/8th Chisel, This Takes about 4 Hours Once You Know What Your Doing But Learning Takes Days and Watch All Youtube Videos and Read Comments as well as you Come To Each Problem. The Next Time You Do It It will Be CAKE and Put Anti-Seize on Everything When You Install The New One Cleaning Everything First. Some People After Seeing How This Job is OPT to Sell The Car If They Live In The RUST BELT! Look At Your Rear Assembly and If The Rotor Shield Is All Rusted It's Not Going To Come Out Like The Florida Non-Rusted and even Those are Stuck! If you think I'm Going To Install a Hub Just Because Its $80 Bucks Less That will End Up Costing Me Days in 15K miles because The Junk Went Defective again? NOT GOING TO HAPPEN WITH THIS! Don't Get Mad or Rush.

Very nice and very quiet!
Installed a set of four hub bearings on my 205 Crosstrek after finding 3 of them bad. The new ones went on easily and seem very heavy duty. Definitely worth the effort! Recommend!

This is not a subaru part
Subaru parts have Subaru stamped right on the part itselfi bought a wheelbarne last year from subaruevery Subaru. Part is stamped Subaru. This one has nothing on it in the box. Looks like it's been open about 30 times

Direct fit, NTN bearing, Subaru part
Installed without issue. worked right away and no surprises. It's a Subaru part which is good. It's NTN bearing which should be good. It has been fine for months but time will tell.

extremely recommended
this is a Subaru genuine part which cost me less than $300.00 and I paid $200.00 for labor making a total of lest than $500.00 and the dealer wanted to charge me $1500.00 for the same material and the same labor.

Easy to install... NOT easy to take the old one off...
These are FACTORY, OEM parts and great quality... Two in a box, I only replaced one, just in case, and the first one was hard work... Plenty of videos show removal and install, and everyone talks about how hard it is. I had the typical rusted and seized bearing that was no longer mitigated by the radio volume... I removed the E-Brake cable but I won't do that for the next one... remove it all, and with the car on a jackstand, hit it with a heavy 3-4lb or heavier mallet, alternating from right to left, bottom and top... I used a chisel on the ears a few times... I didn't try to kill it, I just wanted to beat on it without smacking the fender or the shield... It's a game of millimeters. And beating on it from one side is not going to do it. Having the car low means gravity works that hammer more than your shoulder.... If you have an old brake disc or drum, put it on for more leverage... Good luck. We got 100k out of the first set, hoping to get another 100k out of these.
