WORKED GREAT AND EASY INSTALL
This product saved a 500 foot trenching job to install internet to a distant pole barn. Our ISP provides us with 200Mbps fiber optic service and we get that or a bit better at the modem. Speed at the pole barn installation (500 feet away) is currently 150 to 160Mbps. I tried the different DIP switch configurations but the one out of the box worked best for my application. Pretty easy installation and they provide you with the RJ11 to RJ45 adapter cable for each unit. All metal construction, very solid. I had to mount the unit at the pole barn on the wall and it does not have slots for vertical mounting that I wish it had so I used Velcro that worked well. I highly recommend this product for the amount of work it saved, the performance that it provides and it's solid construction. I also installed their surge protectors at the same time.

Private DSL For The Win
I spend ages researching a way to get Internet access in a building just under 1000 feet away from the house. I almost went with coax. But it is relatively slow and seems to be being abandoned by all the manufacturers - the most recent industry standard from 2 years ago was never even implemented. So I went with VERY high grade UTP6 cable and 2 internet repeaters. The repeaters worked; after a fashion. Without them I had no signal at all. With them I managed a very bad connection and about 40% packet loss. Then, an external search led me to this device. It is literal DSL. It supports multiple signal / noise profiles, error recover modes, and ultimately bit rates.I am running it at its highest symmetric rate of 160MB up/down. This profile is a standard but has not even been rolled out by Telcos yet. It is ROCK SOLID. The modems take maybe 5 seconds to sync when you power them on and then it just works. The two breaks in my 1000 cable run are now joined by simple RJ-45 couplers. And they do not have any measurable impact at all. This thing literally works as well as a 6 foot ethernet cable on your desk!

10 stars out of 5. Works as advertised. It’s super simple to set up.
I was skeptical about this product for a few reasons. One my lack of understanding how it worked. Two there’s always a gimmick product that doesn’t work as intended. Well it does. First off the ease of set up takes about 2 minutes. To set it up was the time to unplug a cord out of my router then to plug the devices in and then hide the wires. I had to flip one of the toggle switches on one of the units to set it up as the receiver. It’s that simple. I have fiber internet so your speed may vary. I needed this set up for a 300 yard long CAT6 cord run to power a wifi router in a pasture. I am getting 680 down and 340 up. It works. I cannot be a bigger fan of this product.Warranty claims? I had a unit (there’s two in the box) go bad. After confirming my order from Amazon the manufacture shipped me an entire new unit, power supply, and CAT cord in case I needed it. They had excellent customer service.I will 3029282747483928267288% buy from them again. And will recommend them again.

Most Have Ethernet Extender!
The product has saved time and money on some of my projects that have long ethernet runs. Tried in-line extenders with POE injectors and either worked at 10/100 speed or nothing at all. The TEX-200 worked great and was able to transmit 10/100/1000. Recommend 100%

Works as Advertised & Could Not Be Much Easier
We have a pool house on our property to which we trenched and ran a number of utilities during construction, including gigabit Ethernet. Why I didn't insist on fiber is beyond me, but I didn't. The Ethernet is cabled with 6A, but the distance of approximately 300+ feet is enough to cut into that bandwidth. I added the TEX-200 over the weekend. It took about 10 minutes to set up, and that included the time to walk to and from the pool house twice. I tried it as configured out of the box, and it worked just fine with a modest increase in throughput. I then set the DIP switches on the master to the second setting for asymmetrical G.INP setting with DIP switch 2 turned on. That produced the best throughput, which is approximately 2.4x of what I had before. Worth it!
