of course its stiff and uncomfortable at first. it's correcting your posture and doesnt have sensors to stop it from pinching the fat on the side of your pecs or underarms. If i wear it during my warm ups i have little to no irritation during chest presses and dips, or overhead work. really enjoying it. wearing it while studying and reading as well.

This thing is amazing! My shoulders are in rough shape after years of abuse. This thing seats them in the right position and gives a good amount of comfortable pressure on the joints, which ultimately leads me to be pain free while wearing it for normal activities. I don't wear this while performing weight lifting movements, but I will wear it before and after. I also wear it while I'm working at my desk. Lastly, I've found it to really help in my running. Take note, this is not something you'll wear all day right off the bat. You need to ease into it. Otherwise it's going to be uncomfortable. But if you take your time and give good effort, the reward is wonderful.

I believe this is a quality build with quality materials. I have been wearing this for around 4 hours every day that I work (4 days a week). I ordered a large (5 foot 7 inches and 175 pounds). I have a large chest and shoulders in porportion to the rest of my body. I would like to see how a XL fits me just out of curiosity. No way that I would recommend a Medium to any adult male. After three or so hours of wear, I do find it uncomfortable in the axillary region. However when my shoulders drift forward it makes it worse so that's incentive for me to keep wearing a little longer. My philosophy of use for this product was to help me with my shoulder pronation and stop from developing kyphosis. After using this, I believe I'm getting the value that I desire from it. I wear it underneath my scrubs (over an undershirt) while I am at work and no one even notices it. It does tend to ride up the back and the person that attached a bungi to the back handle in some review I saw. This allowed him to pull the bowtie down to a more inferior position. I thought that was pretty genius, but I have not tried it. The riding up does bother me as I would rather have it at stay at a lower level. I often ask my girl to pull it down for me if I'm wearing it at the house. But it only alleviates the problem for a few minutes, and then it drifts back where it wants to. For my purposes, I would recommend this. I haven't used it for weight training so I can't speak to it's effectiveness for lifting or strength training.

Getting back into lifting. This product helps me keep great posture so I keep good form during exercises to hit targeted muscles. Although after using a bit it’s losing its elastic strength.

Large is too small. Xlarge is too big. Both sizes are extremely uncomfortable in the armpits. Would not recommend to anyone who is either overweight or anyone who has decently sized muscles. If I could give it a zero I would

Wonderful product came earlier than expected well made unfortunately it is too small for me at 5'9" and 205lbs it should fit me well but it is just too tight please be mindful when you are sizing as according to the sizing chart this should fit

It is a great idea, however even though I ordered the size well above what was indicated as my size it was still too small and cut off circulation. It is also a stiff material and I think even the right size (not available) would chafe my pits.

I was hesitant on whether to give this 2 or 3 stars. First, let me say that I work behind a desk 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Neck and shoulder pain are common. I put this on, it corrects my posture and I feel amazing. Until an hour or so when it starts pinching under my arms. Also, I'm unsure if I got a dud or what, but shortly after I got it, pieces of the elastic are showing disconnected from the fabric. I'm 5'11" and 195-200 pounds with muscular build and went with a large, but I question what an XL would be like.
