dream's SOLUTION Twin Size (39 inch W) Dark Black Metal (Daybed) Pop Up Trundle Frame Twin Size

I have a very small room that I wanted to function as a guest bedroom when needed but without having the whole thing taken up all the time by a big bed. I had a simple metal trundle bed growing up and that seemed like the perfect solution. Many more stylish designs have a drawer you pull out, but what I wanted was something where the second bed would pop up instead of acting like a floor bed. And I wanted something that wasn't too expensive, could be used by adults, and would last a long time. After doing some research, this bed stood out as the one that would meet all my needs.I wanted the mattresses to be the same size (I got mine from Brooklyn Bedding), but I would get a thicker mattress for the top bed if this was going to be someone's permanent bed. Still, both my husband and I have slept on it when an occasion arose and it's very comfortable compared to a pullout couch or air mattress or any other similar option. Not as comfortable as our regular bed, but I've stayed on hotel beds that were worse.The frame is study but not too heavy. Raising and lowering the trundle bed can require a little finagling, but I've been able to do it myself without too much trouble. Exposed it is not the most attractive bed, but nothing a nice bedspread can't cover. I had help putting it together but it wasn't particularly complicated. Nothing seems flimsy or likely to come apart. The design seems pragmatic and focused on function, which is what I was looking for.I would recommend this to anyone wanting a guest beds for adults where it can function either apart or together; a full time bed for one adult who wants a guest bed with the caveat that the mattresses aren't the same size (unless you're still in your early to mid twenties and don't mind a thin mattress); or a child's bed. (Growing up, I loved my trundle bed for sleepovers, and my parents loved that my room could be the guest room when needed.)

One issue in the beginning with incorrect labeled box with wrong size legs. It happens sometimes. Company had instantly corrected the mishap and correct size legs was delivered within four days! Amazing customer service! Easy to setup. Looks great in the small space. Will buy again from this company but hope to never need too. Want this bed to last as long as it is needed.

It came with no instructions but we put it together. The trundle is one piece. You can hurt yourself with those springs especially when the trundle won’t lock in the down position. But it’s too big and too much trouble to send back. A lot of money for what you get. Don’t buy it

Exactly what I was looking for. Only four stars because it was expensive. But if it is what you are looking for it will work

Purchased a similar item from Wayfair and ended up returning it. Was junk and they just refunded my money... didn't even want it back! This one is sturdy and easy to assemble. Please know that if you ever want to make it a king bed, attach the trundle legs on the bottom holes, otherwise the pop-up will be a few inched lower...

I was worried when I saw that there were no instructions, but that was NO problem. The only assembly was screwing in 4 screws to attach the head and foot to the frame. It wasn’t a cheap frame, but pop-up trundles are not cheap. It seems to be quite sturdy and does the job of two beds, but only takes up the space of a twin unless you need a king, or 2 singles for company. For that convenience, it was worth paying a little more for a twin size bed. I would suggest little tags where the release(s) are for the lower trundle. When released, it comes out quickly!!

Frame of bed in good condition, but it can always be sturdier and the spring hooks could be better tighten for the amount it cost!! I had to tighten the hooks onto the frame some more!!Above all; "IT WAS A GOOD PURCHASE "!!

We had a previous trundle bed with 4 posts. WE found if very heavy and complicated to make the bed. With this bed, it is much lighter, easier to pull from the wall and easier to use.
