Good product
It's tight but a bit heavy

The platform DOES fit!
I have several floor lamps -- each of diameter 1.5" The platform clamp opens to 40mm. That is about 2mm more. But what if a manufacturing error makes the platform unusable? I bought only one. The next day I bought two more! They are sturdy, easy to attach, look good and fit precisely.

Best on the Market
I’ve tried other cup holders but this one is one of the best! It’s sturdy, well built and fits multiple cymbal stand and hi-hats for us drummers.
