Amazing lens, does pretty much everything, no need for tweaks and settings adjustments. You just need good lights!

Al principio todo bien con él lente pero ahora mi cámara simplemente no lo reconoce es como si no estuviera puesto y claro pensé que era la cámara pero si funciona con otros objetivos entonces intenté ponerme en contacto con el vendedor para aplicar la garantía de un año y simplemente no me ayudaron en nada y para enviarla con Nikon necesito primero la factura de garantía pero del vendedor no de Amazon así que no compres esto

Nikon did a wonderful job with this lens! No fancy buttons or screens but very nice and sharp glass! Getting a 2.8 zoom lens from Nikon at that price is amazing. I used that lens a lot and I love it! Image quality is superb and this lens is much lighter and smaller than the 24 70 2.8 .

I do mostly portrait and cosplay photography, and it's fantastic. I usually run f/4.5 just so I don't encounter on-subject depth of field blurring, but I have no real complaints about the lens.The only complaint I do have is the cap: If the hood is on, getting the cap on correctly is a pain, because it's not straight-forward to do it by feel. Maybe I just have sausages for fingers, but it's not ideal.
