RYOBIP107 One+ 18 Volt Compact Lithium Ion 1.5 Ah Battery (Single Battery)

My previous rechargeable battery would no longer work. I knew it was either the battery or the charger, and surmised it was the battery. The new Battery was a perfect fit and works perfectly.

This is actually a replacement battery I ordered as the first one would not take a charge. Those familiar with Ryobi batteries and chargers are aware of the dreaded red flashing light on the charger which would continue to flash basically forever and usually means the battery is defective. I'm skeptical whether the first one was even new. You can find You Tube videos demonstrating how you "might" give it a boost by drilling holes in battery and attaching wires to a charger etc. but for an almost $60.00 battery screw that! Ain't happening. What makes it a five star review in spite of that was Amazon's awesome return procedures and sending me a replacement in one day. It couldn't be any easier and the second battery charged immediately and works fine so for me it's basically no harm no foul. Battery life and longevity rating is based on the use I got from the original 18 V lithium used on several of my Ryobi tools.

What better way to complete the shoe molding than to get a brad nail gun! We found a Ryobi Brad Nailer on line and ordered another battery to go along with it. The package arrived timely and was securely packaged with no damage, gotta love that tough outer plastic container! I like the bright green color of the tool, makes it easy to spot and separates it from some of the other hand tools we have. The tool is good for brad nails under 2", but tends to run out of power to quickly to do a lot of 2" brad nails for any length of time. This battery is ideal for smaller jobs, it isn’t as heavy in weight so doesn’t make the tool that much heavier, however; I will be getting an extended life battery to keep the juice going! This means my better half can work longer without taking a break to change the power supply. You really have to decide which one is right for you, the smaller battery is a good product for a smaller project or the bigger one for a possible house flip ha, ha, ha, ha! It has taken us forever to get painting and trim work done. Time to rest zzzzzzzzzz!! I would recommend this product for all those DIYers out there. This battery can be used with other RYOBI tools, don't forget to CHARGE IT!!I gave it a four star review simply for the length of time on the charge, the battery provided top notch service.I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for an honest review.

Love that they fit MY Ryobi drill. My husband has his own favorite for his Dewalt.

Great for spares plus affordable

These are replacing some old yellow 18 volt batteries. They charge faster, have the same energy throughout their use cycle (no dwindling off), and they have an indicator that shows power level when I pick up the tool so I know if I want to replace the battery at the get-go, or use it as is and see how far it takes me. I got these because they are 1/2 the size (and weight) of the biggest ones available. They last about 2 times as long as the old lithium batteries (which had the black charging nose versus the green one these have), and about 1/2 as long as the biggest battery Ryobi makes. Their big benefit, is they are very light compared to the old yellow batteries they are replacing, and lighter than the biggest Lithiums from Ryobi.

Be very careful when purchasing Ryobi products from this or any other retailer on Amazon. Nothing wrong with the seller at all, product came quickly and in good order. Wish I could say the same about Ryobi. In the past 3 years I have bought 2 lawn products that use this battery plus an additional battery(P107) from this site. All worked well for about 6-18 months then so far 3 of 4 batteries have failed ( note: I have a very very small yard I didn't work it to death ). Home Depot replaced one whole unit (Blower and battery) six months after purchase. I no longer had the receipt for the Battery that came with my edger so I could not get that battery replaced. This battery lasted about 18 months before it died, I contacted Ryobi for a replacement and e mail the receipt to them. They responded that although the battery was purchased from an authorized seller they will not honor any warranties unless both the seller and fulfillment are both Amazon.
