Great for ones in hospital or rehab. Where glass vases can be dangerous.

I really didn't think these vases would work as well as they do. I assumed they would be flimsy but as you can see in my photo that is a very heavy amaryllis stem and the vase is functioning perfectly. Apparently the water makes these things very stable. I am very pleased with this purchase.

My first thought in the package was "not so much", but then I got a real look at the set of plastic vases and put some water in them and checked to see how they will stand up. Okay, second impressions were really pretty good.I decided that these are great for when we are visiting my Grandmom's home in the woods, when kids always bring in picked flowers but we usually end up using drinking glasses as a vase. Then I started thinking about how these are really pretty great, with solid seals and no leaking. They stand up on their own (but don't try to move them around the table because of you push or grab the wrong way, you'll end up soaking things). I would totally add these to a bouquet for a friend, or get well flowers when I'm visiting someone in the hospital or a rehab facility. They are perfect for those "temporary" displays, especially when you don't want to add yet another standard florist vase to someone's collection at home later. I think it adds a nice touch for a small flower display or breaking up a larger bouquet. I really do like that they aren't all clear, so it adds color or style to a floral display.

I love creating new plants from cuttings. These are perfect for longer stems & look nicer than any of the jars I was using before I found them. They are also flat, so I can put more in a smaller window space.

The media could not be loaded. I bought these for myself and to give to friends. I was disappointed that after I filled it with water, it barely could stand without falling over, especially once I put flowers in it. The shape warps and the bottom doesn’t open wide enough to give it stability. I have a collapsible vase that a friend gave me from a different company, so I know how well they could work. Very disappointed!

Did what they were supposed to. I wasn't bowled over by their design.

One thing I’ve always found difficult was finding a container for a flower or bouquet when traveling. A real flower in a hotel room adds a touch of home for me, so when I saw these packable vases I had to have some of my own. I bought two sets, one to keep and one to give as Bon Voyage gifts to friends setting out on vacation.
