i love body care and trying out new products and fragrances is one of my favorite things. a friend recommended this brand to me because i have a thing for gourmand vanilla scents, and most brands i've tried smell overly citrusy or weird. so i tried the crispy marshmallow bars scent, and i think it's probably my new favorite body wash. it smells like a delicious vanilla marshmallow, but still soapy and clean at the same time, so not overly foody. i've since tried the vanilla birthday cake scent that i found at tj maxx and i still prefer the marshmallow but only by a little. its lightly scented but ive been pairing it with vanilla bean noel from b&bw and it smells like a dream. i'm definitely going to buy more and i want to try all the different scents.

I've been using this shampoo now for many years, and I absolutely love it. It doesn't leave my hair feeling greasy, and the scent is pleasant without being overwhelming. I went through a slew of shampoos before finding Philosophy and had actually settled on just using regular old Irish Spring bar soap on may hair because everything else felt like it was leaving behind oily or otherwise unpleasant residue, but this stuff is great. My hair feels nice and soft and clean. And nothing else. I've tried several (scents? flavors?), and although my favorite is no longer made (pear), this French vanilla is a close second.I know everybody's hair is different, but this works perfectly for me.

For the past several months I've been dealing with some really bad chestne/bacne. I've tried a lot of things, from salicylic body washes to salicylic scrubs but nothing worked. Then, I decided to switch my body wash with this and a coffee scrub from Brooklyn Beauty. Idk if it was the scrub or the body wash or the change in seasons, but afterwards my skin gradually became less congested and better. I mean, I still have some acne pop up sometimes, but compared to last time? Major improvement. Also like that this body wash is in such a huge bottle, so I think you're getting your money's worth. Also, it smells really good.5/5, would recommend.

Smells amazing and such a soft, fabulous lather. But every single Philosophy bottle I have ever bought does not pour well, had to open the whole top and pour it out, the flip top won’t stay open.

I must say, this smells great just like rice crispy treats and is very moisturizing. This body wash actually makes me excited to get in the shower every day.

French vanilla is my favorite shower gel. Makes my skin soft and shiny and no strong fragrance. I hope they haven't discontinued it as this is my favorite!

This smells exactly like marzipan and I love it!😍 I have yet to use it only opened it to smell it and see the consistency of it so far so good its a pretty decent size although considering the smell is exactly like creamy almond marzipan id be more than happy to pay the full price since its what I expected and wanted. Finding a shower gel that smells exactly like the scent its labeled as isn't easy but this went above and beyond and the color is beautiful as well💜

This product always satisfies me. Would recommend everytime.
