I looked at a lot of places and not many carried this long of a hose. It works great so far, seems to be well built. I would recommend it.

In all actuality, I wouldn't have a problem giving this line a 5-star review, but it is, after all, just a water line. Give me a little more time with it in service, and maybe I'll change my mind.The fittings at each end are plated brass. The stainless is reserved for the flex sheathing over the hose.Picking the right length is a compromise between having too much exposed water line flopping around (maybe not important for an enclosed cabinet), and bending the line so tightly that it begins to flatten and restrict water flow.While obviously my review can't offer any guidance on picking a length, I can say that with this line twisted through 270° and inset about in inch, the line flattens just a little more than I'd like, but it doesn't really affect flow rate at the faucet.Oh, and the blue color band is only a helpful indicator to help mate it to the correct Lasco stop valve -- if you don't like the color, the band can be removed.

Had a through the floor supply line situation and needed to put supply valves below floor to keep from cluttering the vanity. I was surprised by the low price on these, for an extended length. I was astonished that I hand tightened both hoses, then pressurized, expecting to have a dribble or two. Nope, worked without basin wrench or any other such.Don't use teflon tape or pipe dope with these, they can actually end up compromising the seal of the built-in washers. And don't overtighten, that can do the same thing.
