May Not Be A TRUE 5/8" Diameter Wheel Bearing -- Possibly A Slightly Smaller "Metric Equivalent" Diameter
High quality tire/wheel assembly, surprisingly with a zerk fitting for the wheel bearing. My 30 year old wheel barrel possibly had a true 5/8" diameter shaft, which was too large for the presumably metric - 5/8" equivalent - wheel, which forced me to grind the shaft diameter approx. 0.020 down in diameter to fit the new wheel. But it's well worth a little extra effort for this new tire/wheel.

Better than expected
I recently bought a HF 10 cubic ft. trailer cart to pull behind my atv.Recently the local power company hired another company to come in and clear right-of-ways.Well they come in and cleared the right-of-way but left a bunch of tree debris that is anywhere from 1 foot long to 3 foot long at 3 to 4 inch in diameter. So I'm picking up what is left in my cart and making a burn pile.On my second trip, stab punched clean thru the tire and the tube on the original tires, just a cheap 2 ply.2 ply is questionable? So I bought 2 of these tires used in very good condition from the Amazon Warehouse. They even have plastic caps that go on the outside of the bearings on both sides to keep debris out.So today I made two trips to pick up tree debris and both tires performed great even though I know I was running over stabs but no holes or flats.Happy, happy, happy

looks good except hub size
Received tire and wheel, I believe I had placed this order to have a 6" hub not a 3". everything else is correct

Inexpensive work fine
What can you say about a tire for a small utility wagon for around the yard. If you are careful not to order the wrong axle diameter like I did they are great. I do like the zirc fitting for the bearings. Keep the tires out of the sun when not in use. My last set got dry rotted. As always Amazon accepted the return and gave me the credit before I even shipped them back.

Thank you!
This has made my wheelbarrow feel like new and so much easier to use. I replaced the original wheel after it was worn with a flat free wheel and suffered for years. If you move heavy loads, an inflatable wheel will make work much easier.

It is a real 5/8" bearing.
This is an excellent product, but as another reviewer discovered, some older wheelbarrows look like they have a 5/8" axle , but in fact have a larger diameter. So when I quickly measured my axle with a measuring tape it looked like 5/8", but when I got the new wheel the axle would not fit inside the bearing. I then carefully measured the axle and found that it was 1/32-1/16" larger in diameter. Perhaps it was a metric wheel bearing/axle originally. So I had to go to a hardware store and buy a 3 ft, 5/8" steel rod for about $10 and saw off an 8 1/2" rod to replace the axle. I originally bought the wheel because it was the same price as the tire an inner tube and I saw how difficulty it was to replace the wheel and tube on an old hub. So it ended up costing me an extra $10 and a trip to the hardware store.

Grease fitting
Wheel looks good but the grease fitting broke off during greasing. Try to find a grease fitting without buying an assortment. Also, the grease fitting is likely to be metric, not SAE, making it difficult to attach and remove your grease gun.
